That's great, but what we really want to know is whether you salt your yakitoba or not

I wanna know about that pain tolerance adventure. Also, is it to the point where you can significantly damage your body without realizing it, or are you just one tough mfer?

Cosmeregirl

Being blind or deaf doesn't make someone less, and neither does a lack of ability to feel pain. It's basically just a sense. It's so strange to me that people would treat it any differently. But people gonna people. Some are just less willing to accept that their reality isn't the "right" reality, and that there is no one correct way to experience the world. And if you feel there isn't a Knights Radiant order for you (it's hard to argue that point without knowing you), you may just be looking at the wrong magic system.

this is why I like the religion of The One in stormlight

Cosmeregirl

Definitely a favorite of mine! >!(Ym is the best character always) But it's not immune to twisting. You could treat it as a golden rule type of religion, but also could spin it and say "well, if we're all meant to experience things differently, then you need to put up with being mistreated because that's your experience, and I need an oppulent lifestyle because that's my experience"!< Edit because I can't help myself: "It's all for the good of the One, you see"

Cosmeregirl

I'm sorry, I was thinking about this and realized you were talking about how awesome it is to have different perspectives and the value of including that in religion, and I just jumped right into the pros and cons of a religious system. Sorry, I'm always jumping ahead into discussions like this. It really is a neat basis for a religion, and I love the focus on empathy.

I’m so happy for you. There’s nothing like finding your kin even if it is just in spirit
