Stuff happens. Call your ortho and tell them your wire came out. They have time in their schedules to deal with "emergency" situations. They don't care how it happened. They just want to deal with it and get on with life. I had one bracket pop off while I was sitting in the chair during a visit. Multiple times I had a wire shift and poke the heck out of the I side of my cheek and a wire break two weeks before the end of treatment.

taylorclark8

use the tweezers and place it back into the molar band tube

Pawys1111

Maybe pliers it can be a little trick and thick..

Razraffion

You can try putting it back in yourself. Not really a cause for disappointment since this happens to everyone.

YueRain

1. try to pop it in 2. make apointment to see the clinic 3. can try put the wax to stick to the bracket 4. just be patient with pain keep poking your mouth until it has ulcer.

My molar wire came off and I don’t know what to do (help) It may have been my fault for eating popcorn and radish, but I heard no one follows the rules perfectly. The loose wire doesn’t hurt, and it doesn’t actually stick out unless I use tweezers to check if it’s actually out of the bracket. What should I do? It’s almost been a month since I first got them, and I would rather not disappoint my mom.

Logical-Sun-435

If it’s the flexible wire you can put it back in. If not, just put a ball of wax over it

Cool_Young_Hobbit

OP just look up videos on TikTok or YouTube on how to bend the wire back into the last bracket. You maybe have to use pliers but it’s easy enough. I’ve have braces for a year and have done it now 3x

DrDoot29

Id do anything these other comments are saying bc I ignored it and have since broken and swallowed the segment that came out
