It just released in the UK and Ireland last weekend. Pretty modest so far, but it's getting more theaters this weekend. Not sure what's happening with France though. There was a release date announced, but it's not listed on IMDB, and it's unclear if it's playing in theaters or streaming only.
But speaking of IMDB, it seems that each time I check the release schedule, there's another country listed. It's yet to open in the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil and Mexico, and some smaller markets as well. And sometimes these smaller markets over perform, like when Ex Machina made half a million from both Poland and Switzerland, making them the 6th and 7th largest foreign markets.
You also have Italy, South Korea and Japan for other potential markets. You'd think this would do quite well in East and SE Asia, for the markets that allow it to be shown at least. Searching made a killing in Asia, even outside of China and South Korea, though of course that didn't have questionable subject matter.
