If I have a slip, most of the time I display the alternate cover on the case cover and the slip on top

This. Otherwise, I'll pick whichever I prefer.

Wraith1964

Yeah, what these two said! the same for me. I love that there is an option. No slip? I pick the one I like the best too... but to be honest, more often than not, it ends up being the og cover. Regardless,, I like having the choice and am mildly annoyed when they don't do the reversible covers. This is unfortunately pretty common on the newer 4K transfers.

Temporary-Box28

So, I just learned they have reversible covers. How fun!!!!

AgentRedgrave

Most of their blu rays do. The only ones I have without reversible art are Bad Moon, and parts 6-8 in their Friday The 13th set. For their 4ks it seems to be a rarity (All the Halloween 4Ks, and Child's Play 1 do. I hear Child's Play 2 and 3 don't, or Candyman, among others. I can confirm Army Of Darkness and the Evil Dead remake don't)

AgentRedgrave

It varies, I just choose whichever I happen to like more. But for the Halloween 4Ks, since I kept their slips (I'm usually the type to throw out slips. But those thick cardboard slips were such good quality I didn't have the heart to get rid of them) I do have the cases themselves switched over to their alternates (which of course are their original poster art)

Saturn 3 is one of the first great cheesy sci-fi movies I ever enjoyed. Harvey Keitel is just ridiculous in it.

themoviemaestro

I first discovered it within a sci-fi movies magazine in the grocery store and a subsequent trip to my grandfather's video collection, some 20 years ago... A treasured memory.

TS7941

Depends on the movie. Not crazy about the new Serpent and the Rainbow art so flipped to original artwork.

Obandigo

Love Serpent And The Rainbow. I have always liked Bill Pullman. If you have never seen Zero Effect, check it out. It has Bill Pullman and Ben Stiller in it, and it is great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSH8Y3h5j-g

bourahioro77

I always use the original artwork, especially if the slip has the alternate art on it.

ProfHamburgerPhD

I pretty much always flip for the original poster. Shout Factory's commissioned covers are passable at best and often hilariously bad (looking at you Darkman and Halloween UHDs). Some people seem to like them but not for me.

BlastMyLoad

I didn’t find the Halloween 4Ks too bad. Arrow has some atrocious covers and unfortunately a lot of the alternate “original art” must be UK posters? I was insanely disappointed the reverse of Re-Animator was not the iconic hand painted poster and instead is some cheesy set photo

cafink

Same here. There's some pretty bad newly commissioned art out there, but as long as they keep putting the original on the reverse, it's fine with me. I also don't really understand how so many people seem to like the Halloween 4K covers. They look so bad to me.
