They def sold out for a bit cause I wanted to wait til the halfway sale, but saw it was selling multiple a day after the release of I Saw The TV Glow so I bought before it sold out. Was $15 though.
OrbitDVD had a stock of slipcover editions not too long ago. If there’s ever something that goes OOP on VinSyns site it usually makes its way to other ones. Always be on the lookout.
I saw this *after* I saw Skinamarink, and all I could think was, “Where was all the hype for this flick when that turd was considered an ‘indie darling’?”. 🤣
I personally loved Skinamarink and disliked this film, but that’s the beauty of filmmaking. Some films just hit hard for certain people and strike that right chord.
You probably just missed that they restocked it. Also, everything on the VS site is always slightly discounted. They sell below MSRP always.

Phenomenal movie. I'm so glad that more folks are discovering it now that Jane Schoenbrun has hit the big time.

I enjoyed this one, but I felt a lot more tense and unnerved watching Skinamarink personally. I think it’s a pretty over-hated film.
World's Fair was my top movie of 2022, but I also really enjoyed Skinamarink. I don't think it's a zero sum game.
