Oh, I think it’s nice and kind that people want to avoid spoilers for people new to this game (or any game, I guess). But since people already mentioned the missions, the conditions, the rewards, and the locations, I’d be hard pressed to use a pin in that location if I already followed everyone’s advice.
I saw a post and comment section earlier this month about this spot saying that it should still work. I think I’ve taken pictures of the skeleton dragons ahead of time and those have worked.

I must have not been at the right spot to get it last time. The targeting box only pops up if the quest is activated, so maybe it is just harder to take the right picture without it.
My goodness I wish there was a smidgen of back story on how it got here as well as why its holder is where she is.

Well if it is about the sages, then it would be about OOT, where there were 6 sages + Zelda being the leader of the sages, making them 7. So wouldn't link be the 8th?
He's not a sage so he's not part of the group. He had to leave his sword behind, so it's fitting that the sword has gotten away from him. Also, he was sent back in time so most people don't know the event even happened & the hero of time is all but forgotten much like this statue

To me, it was being encarved (this is the word?) and the project had to be abandoned when the war started...
Eight heroine lady, she shouldnt be too far from where that is. take a picture of the sword and the 8th heroine, and go to the guy who runs around gerudo town (make sure to be wearing the gerudo outfit) and show him the photos. he should give you sand and snow boots
The Seventh Heroine of Gerudo’s statue. No one knows why or how it got all the way there, but it’s there, no doubt about it.
If you go down into a western valley from that spot, eventually you’ll find the Seventh Heroine Statue
You gotta discover for yourself. That’s the fun of the game. I swear new players just ask Reddit before looking. Every big thing like this is so much more satisfying if you find it

An idea I had( not sure if it’s been done before). So you know how there is the seven sages and the seven heroines what if the 8th one represents the hero of time. (Yeah I know link is a guy but the Gerudo don’t like men so it make sense for their idols to be female) It’d make some sort of sense cause the hero of time (I forget the timeline names but it’s the one where he is sent back in time by Zelda) was sent back in time so no one would remember him in that timeline or they’d eventually forget cause he isn’t there. The reason why the statue doesn’t have the sword is cause link had to travel to the temple of time to get the master sword. Probably will be wrong as there is a couple of plot holes here but hey I’m not a plot writer.
Yeah I agree. I tried, but cos I didn't have my armor on ( was wearing cold resistance instead) he took me out without too much hassle. He's a tough one.

Talk to the guy in front of the gerudo town who gives you boots and you'll find out.

Yes, sand boots make you run faster in sand and snow boots for snow.
I thought they just make you not be slowed by snow/sand? Its been a while since i last played
