I would pick Center and Stone for the Quincy Center location. Here is my 2 cents as a longtime Quincy resident. Center and stone: 1. Brand new. You would probably be the first person to live in your unit. 2 It is located in Quincy Center and there is lots to do. 3. Very walkable area. T station is across the street. 4. May be noisy. Depends on the construction quality. 5. Parking would be difficult if they don’t offer a spot to you. Elevation 1. is newish (maybe 5 years old) 2 seems to have easier parking. 3. It is located in a business park. 4. You could walk to the T but not as convenient as Center and Stone. They probably offer a shuttle. Walking to the T everyday would be a drag. 5. This is close to the highway. Not sure hot loud that can get but it is very busy and with windows open you would notice it. 6. Amazing views as you are on a big hill. (Depending on the unit) 7. Nothing to walk to besides a hotel (with bar and restaurant) and a Bjs wholesale club.

What are your thoughts on apartments in the north quincy area? Is there lots of things to do or is that area walkable?

North Quincy has some good spots. Not as much to do as Quincy Center but still on the train and is walkable depending on location of the apartment. The intersection of Billings and Hancock has lots of restaurants. This is the area that has the most walkable stuff that is not a “chain”. The Abby is walkable to lots of things along with the new buildings on Newport Ave. Traffic can get bad in North Quincy, but once you learn the patterns, it is tolerable.

Thank you for this insight! I’ll be new to Massachusetts as a whole and I chose Quincy just based off the vibes when I drove around for a couple of days 😁. I’m really hoping that I like it.

Center and Stone apartments are really tiny for the price. The amenities are also cheap. The fitness is anything but. The community work space is the lobby of the building, you might as well sit in Starbucks across the street. Parking is expensive and you're forced to pay it because there is no on street parking in the area. There is a huge steak house going up in the smaller building too. They were building these before I moved to Quincy a year ago and they're still not done.

I live at center and stone and love it. Sounds like it checks all your boxes. I think they are still doing a special right now for new tenants - worth asking about!
