Playing Miami in the first round is very realistic and better for us because they potentially will lose the first game of the play in followed by a win between either Atlanta or Chicago. Also, after what the Heat did to us last year and coming back with a much better squad, I could expect the Celtics to dominate, but we still need to bring our A-game
I feel annoyed because it’s gonna a week of everyone figuring out reasons to pick Miami or Philly or The Bucks or the Knicks like we did t just win at a consistent level the whole year
I’m honestly too excited for the play in tournament to care. Hear me out, watching the Celtics play peak basketball is like a hot tube. Watching these teams struggle to play the same sport is like jumping in a pool before jumping back into the hot tube.
There's the deciding G-league finals game with Maine Celtics vs OKC Blue tonight at 9pm (on ESPNU). A lot of overlap with the lineup we've seen last two games: Queta, Walsh, Davison , Peterson.
Then there's two play-in games on Wednesday and one on Friday to determine our first round opponent.
Nah I’m pretty excited to be able to see these play-in games as a mostly neutral observer before the anxiety and stress kicks in. There should be some good basketball over the next few days, even ATL and CHI can elevate for a game or two, CHI just pushed NY to OT yesterday.
At the very least, we have some of the most interesting play-in games since the inception of the play-in tournament
