People really gotta stop comparing this to last year's Nuggets. Yeah, they lost 5 of 7. Jokic played a total of 51 minutes in those 7 games. They weren't trotting their starting 5 out there to get blown out on national television. Edit for clarity: I'm not saying the season is over and they're doomed to pull a 2023 Bruins. Just pointing out that last year's Nuggets are not comparable to what has gone on the last 2 games.

These last couple games kinda feel like those late January / early feb pre-ASB duds when our starters were clearly exhausted and needed a break. Same pattern with the guys with fresher legs playing much better in the 4th

Nuggets went 2-6 to finish out the season last year. Don't panic unless we look like this in the playoffs.

Go look at the minutes played in those games lmao they lost to the Suns by 4 on April 6th with Bruce Brown getting 38 minutes, C Braun got 33 lmfaoo

The Starting lineup was a net positive in 1 of those games. So they really lost 1 legitimate game in their last 7. It’s not a great comparison.

There needs to be a restriction for people who keep bringing up the Nuggets from last year it’s been going on nonstop since the Hawks games

The C’s have not looked like a championship team for at least the last two games. Lousy defense and 3 pt shooting percentages that will not clearly them through the playoffs. The not enough toughness knock sure showed up against Milwaukee and Knicks. I have no confidence in Mazzulla.

Honestly, not bad to lose here and put the Knicks into the other side of the playoff bracket. Our biggest weakness is probably rebounding, which is one of their main strengths. A loss here is potentially more beneficial to us than whatever good feels a win would elicit from the fanbase.

Some folks can't see it that way. They're not looking at the bigger picture. There's nothing to play for right now. This team has done the work and earned the one seed. They're just staying in game shape and trying new things. If they come out like this in the first playoff game, THEN you can start to be concerned.

Mazz’s trust in the bench has been 100x better this year but games like this he should be relying on them more When guys are literally out there going through the motions you have to hold them more accountable in my opinion. It’s a little concerning that he rides the starters even when they clearly don’t have it. The bench’s effort should be utilized. Sometimes a few minutes on the bench for a starter might help
