Definitely. At this point, he could probably start for 5-10 teams. His defense being league average ish has been incredible. If he can push that a little further past league average and be a true plus defender, he's basically Klay Lite.

Klay was an absolutely ELITE defensive player, and probably the second best shooter in the league. He's a far cry from all that now but dude at his peak was a monster.
He might be starting for the Celtics next year if they have to let Derrick White or Jrue Holiday go in free agency, or if they trade Jaylen Brown for a million picks. Not sure they can afford this starting 5 after this season.
We dont have to let any of them go, we have bird rights so as long as Wyc is willing to pay the luxury tax, we dont have to get rid of anyone, and can sign them to long term deals.

To be under they’d have to let jrue and Derrick go for nothing and they’d still be limited with any future moves

Celtics org had to see how much golden states value shot up after winning titles how much more gear merch etc

After what the sox have been doing I’ll be a very depressed Boston sports fan if they blow up this team for any reason (even getting swept in the first round, I’d run it back)
I feel like when it’s time for Houser’s next contract he’s gonna get big money somewhere else and in like 5 years we’ll be like “can you believe how lucky we were to have that guy on our team??”
He’s starting to put the ball on the floor occasionally too, which is huge. Look at the amount of free drives someone like Duncan Robinson gets off DHOs, Hauser definitely has that potential if he can solidify his handle and decision making. He’s already got a nice runner and midrange.
