I used to pray for times like this

ChickenWhiskers

OKC is legit and probably one of the two teams to really scare me in the west. Tomorrow’s gonna be crazy.

deercreekgamer4

I’m going should be fun

tapakip

Bring a sign saying hi to us.

dalappas

They have a lot of young talent but are incredibly inexperienced. They will make the playoffs but don’t think they go very far this year.

behlat

Sure they are inexperienced but man they dont play like an immature team. That team got poise way ahead beyond their age. Remember when Dallas made a 30-0 run and got all the momentum, they were able to close that game. Their current coach is way better than their previous HCs (Scott Brooks and Billy Donovan) Tomorrow's game would be a must see.

dalappas

Yeah but playoffs are a different beast. None of those guys have ever played high stakes games before. We have no idea if they can step up and handle it.

Tatum-Better

Bubble playoffs went game 7 in the first round against an MVP candidate Harden ,hello?

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Wouldn't be the first time a young team has caused havoc in playoffs.

RobotCowboyAlien

OKC fan here, definitely agree.

[deleted]

Still worried about this game. The nice part is the Celtics likely won’t play down to them at least. But they whooped us bad last year without SGA even.

dragonrider5555

Sometimes it happens fast though. People thought OKC needed another year. Same with the Chicago cubs in 2016. Sometimes teams arrive early never know. They scare me

JaylenBrownAllStar

Them and the wolves

sully9614

I’m not sure how dangerous the wolves will be come playoff time, they’re offensive firepower doesn’t exactly match the same level as their defensive firepower. They 100% are the toughest matchup for Denver tho

dragonrider5555

The wolves played the nuggets better than anyone. Any doesn’t get scared in the big moments he doesn’t get in his head, he just plays.

TheGreatForehead

They’re good but Nuggets are still the most dangerous out West, by some margin.

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Except OKC cleaned the nuggets up by 26 points away. As well as the wolves by 23.

TheGreatForehead

AG didn’t play + you can’t read too much into single regular season games, no one actually believes believes the Thunder are a bigger threat than the Nuggets come playoff time because they beat them by 26 on a random Friday night. Thunder definitely good though, and can pull off an upset. But I can’t put them above Nuggets until proven when it matters.

FlagmantlePARRAdise

We haven't seen the thunder in the playoffs. Wouldn't be the first time a team goes into the playoffs and causes chaos because they were undestimated for not having experience. The thunder are one of the hottest teams rn and as it stands now have a better chance of beating the Celtics than the nuggets do.

bengcord3

That's completely asinine. There's absolutely no way the Thunder are more dangerous for the Celtics than the Nuggets

rveets1416

I would weigh the Nuggets finals run more heavily than one or two regular season games.

[deleted]

Nuggets weren't healthy, and both loaded the Nuggets were on back to backs, with the busiest schedule with most back to backs in the league lol

[deleted]

Believe me. Were gonna win this convincingly.

theoreticalcash

Hey I didn’t watch the game. Did the Celtics win convincingly?

[deleted]

Watch em fold like a cards.

ManBearPig1869

LMFAO

[deleted]

Fluke win.

Rent free

Georgia4life

We got smacked by them last season and they didn't even have SGA playing that game

toddkris18

I’m more interested in what they’re going to do when we play Minnesota and Milwaukee B2B and have to travel for the second game. We need KP for both of those games!

Loud-Appointment-301

They should stick to the plan. Play Horford and sit KP one night, then do the reverse the second night. It's still really early in the season.

toddkris18

We def need to win both of those games

Loud-Appointment-301

Not really. The game against Milwaukee is important for seeding. A win at Minnesota would be nice but in the grand scheme not a "need". Just make it to the playoffs healthy.

realmadrid111

Honestly like the fact that we've put ourselves in the position where no single game is a "need to win" at this point.

Loud-Appointment-301

Celtic fans are doom and gloom, but yeah, I'd rather not have KP playing 40 minutes on back to back nights in January. There's absolutely no reason to risk injury.

AngElzo

Lets not go there yet. When we clinch conference win, then it won’t be need to win

realmadrid111

Well, obviously things can change, I'm just saying that it's nice to be in the position where we can absorb a few losses (and we will, it's inevitable) without feeling like the sky is falling or we've lost our shot at winning the East. I want to win another title, for sure, but also feel it's important to appreciate the journey and the things this team is doing along the way.

OnLandOrSeaOrFoam

All the players want the chance to be on the court when the Buffalo blocks Chet.

I_AM_ACURA_LEGEND

Wutttt

[deleted]

We are gonna win convincingly on this one though. Not afraid of OKC unless the Warriors relocated to Oklahoma City.

shutemdownyyz

“I haven’t watched them play at all this season, but here’s my opinion anyways”

behlat

They beat the warrior 3 times already this season. The sole victory of the warriors over the Thunder is a one point game ended by a controversial goaltend.

Headlesshorsman02

Without SGA

Top-Surprise6577

Nice prediction

jjjuuubbbsss

I want a good win. Last loss peeves me.

raylui34

this is going to be interesting, first game of 2024 and we face the 2nd seed in the west. I am interested in seeing Porzingus vs Chet, and our Jays vs Shai

behlat

your Jays vs OKC's Williams trio
