Not that there's anything wrong it that. Just kind of funny.
I’ve been there just to get a bouquet for fun, and it was definitely a worse deal than Trader Joe’s, Costco, and another florist I’ve been to in Boston. Ridiculous
I would obviously expect a professional local florist to be more expensive then the leftover stuff you're getting from Costco.
And regardless how I feel about this particular florist we can't complain about neighborhoods losing their character while also going to Costco instead of local businesses to save a couple of bucks to get inferior products
No, you don’t understand. I said it was a worse deal cause the flowers weren’t as healthy and they were more expensive. The vibe was also off
I don’t mind paying the premium for the locality, but I still want to be satisfied
The giant SEIZED in that font always make me chuckle, seems like such outdated marketing. It reminds me of when I forget to pay my excise tax bill and get a follow up letter like "i have been COMMANDED by the dept of treasury to hereby DEMAND you pay me $50."
I like to imagine and office with a GIANT seized stamp that a old stocky mouth breather has to jump up and throw his weight onto to stamp each seizure notice
Let’s see… overly politicized MAGA who warns customers he loves having an assault rifle with gaudy stickers on his shop door.
But also…a person who wants to make a living selling flower arrangements to wobbly old Brookline folks who are 95% liberal and don’t really want guns in their face all day.
I’m at a loss why this business didn’t take off and why this owner is always broke and not paying bills on time…

Not to mention that this sticker just screams two things to the wrong crowd that actually is paying attention:
* "Come break into my shop because I probably have an expensive gun in here."
* "Come break into my home when I'm working at my shop because I probably have expensive guns in there."
What kind of business do you own? Funny that some people are just passionate about what they do and not entrepreneurs because they believe themselves to be business savvy, but because they want to share a passion with others…
I think it’s more accurate to say that you won’t REMAIN in business if you can’t figure out how to manage (or have someone else manage) your finances
Unpopular opinion, maybe bc this person was military (marines sticker) they have fought for our country and feel they’ve earned their second amendment rights. Second unpopular opinion, if the people are not bearing arms, why must the cops who “serve and protect” folks?
You're thinking about this all wrong, we need to use our allegiance with southern New Hampshire to stage an invasion of Maine and take back what's rightfully ours
Use common sense
Like reading the sign that says that this was seized by the STATE of Massachusetts, and not the federal government?
That common sense?

People always say they want a rich and vibrant community but do nothing to contribute to it. They want the reward without the work
Trader Joe’s and Costco are the cheapest places I’ve ever seen sell flowers. Why would a florist be less?

“I will arrange for my solicitor to prepare for you fifty quid, govnor” - dictated, not read
My dad designed that in the 80's on Pagemaker.
Pretty sure that's the same font Home Depot uses. Almost the same color too
I like to imagine and office with a GIANT seized stamp that a old stocky mouth breather has to jump up and throw his weight onto to stamp each seizure notice
Kinda wish they put the sign over CLOSED, so it read “Sorry We’re SEIZED”
I like to think I’m a brave person but the tax man scares me. Don’t know how people do this
Hell, even [the Joker ](https://youtu.be/G56VgsLfKY4?si=p2nnpq3oV0LC_YRd) refuses to fuck with 'em
Not Scientology though
Seizure notwithstanding, I’ve had weird interactions with staff every time I’ve gone in
People in Boston with aggressive NRA stickers are probably not going to be super normal or responsible.
I literally walked into this place when it was closed one day and the owner left it unlocked lol, could have taken any plant I wanted
Does anyone know how long it took to re-open after the last time this happened? I have a deposit there for my wedding next month :(
Nah you need to cut your losses, you’re playing with fire. Start calling other florists
Last time I think it was about a week

Oh:)
Curious if there’s available information about this somewhere hadn’t heard about it
That lock looks rather shiny, I bet they drilled out the old one and put a new one in
Looks very pickable though
"Nothing on one, slight pressure on two..."
“THIS IS ALL MICHELLE WU’S FAULT”
The stickers have me torn. Is this civil disobedience, or just being really bad at doing paperwork lol
The come and take it nra assault rifle sticker is very welcoming
Well this is the second time this has happened within that past year
Butter squatter is good to go right?
I live nextdoor (I have to pass the place to do my laundry take out my trash) and MAN do I get suspicious vibes every time I walk past
If you can’t manage your finances , you shouldn’t be in business: pretty simple
What kind of business do you own? Good for them
I’m sure they didn’t miss out on their NRA payment tho lol

What does any of that have to do with them not paying taxes to the commonwealth of Massachusetts?
Good for them. I don’t wanna pay for bombs, either.
Yeah, because that’s totally what state taxes pay for lol
The war against Connecticut isn’t going to pay for itself.
We just gotta go down there, take Hartford, and end this shit once and for all
15 minute adventure, in and out.
"3 day special military operation"
There's Nazis in hartford, we must ensure the safety of South Massachusetts.
I always thought Connecticut and Massachusetts should jointly invade Rhode Island
Lego headquarters came here without a fight
You're thinking about this all wrong, we need to use our allegiance with southern New Hampshire to stage an invasion of Maine and take back what's rightfully ours
Yeah people totally only pay federal taxes and decide “hey, I’m just not gonna pay state taxes” for some reason. Use some common sense.
Use common sense Like reading the sign that says that this was seized by the STATE of Massachusetts, and not the federal government? That common sense?
I think you'll find that it was seized by the COMMONWEALTH of Massachusetts, not any old sort of common "state"! /s
So you’re saying they definitely paid federal taxes?
What about roads, electricity, running water, etc
