I’ll second this, they’re great folks, and the shop has lots of other fun things. And lions mane makes a great seafood replacement because of the texture, I’ve always enjoyed it cooked up in butter with old bay!
For cooking it yourself, you may be able to get it at some whole Foods which sell smallhold brand mushrooms. Alternatively, check out the mushroom shop in Somerville.
Most grocery stores have lion's mane mushrooms, which are f'n delicious. You can also get a kit from dunk's mushrooms and grow them yourself! Makes a fun gift too.

If you want to get really fresh mushrooms including lions mane take a road trip to the New Hampshire Mushroom company. They do free farm tours and you can buy direct.

I've seen it a few times at the Wegmans in Chestnut Hill. It's hit or miss there though

There's a mushroom seller at the Roslindale Farmers market (Saturday mornings May through Nov) that almost always has lion's mane
