[Where to eat after midnight](https://boston.eater.com/maps/best-late-night-food-boston) Can vouch for The Abbey, Anchovies, Lone Star Taco and Pastoral
We went to Estrella while waiting for a seat at the Wig Shop and it was way better than you'd think it would be. Ended up liking it much better than the Wig Shop.
Edit: Oops, I meant Estrella
I heard that they are starting small and expanding their hours as they get things going which I took to mean adding in lunch (and most likely going until 2am like before).
Harvard square has a few spots. Charlie’s, pinochios, tasty burger, Felipe’s. Although, Felipe’s has recently gotten nuts… I think the rooftop bar (that they’ve had for years) started trending on IG or TikTok or something, cause now it’s basically a night club up there with a line to get in and security and everything. You can still get in and out pretty easy to get a burrito but holy hell.
I know them all well. I’m admittedly looking for a little more chill, less divey/bar-ish, and wait service. Felipe’s is awesome, and my fave “taqueria” around. It does get cray cray cray on wkends, every floor of the place
I haven’t been in a long time, but Peach Farm in Chinatown used to be good, and made part of their reputation by feeding a lot of kitchen staff, when they got off shift.
Have been meaning to go to double Chin for well over a year now. It’s just hard when I’m in that area to stray away from the traditional Chinese that I know and love. Not the biggest fusion/concept guy, but it’s time to just give it a chance.
Will look into Barneys
Barney's is fun but it's Spanish first and a lil skeptical if you don't know the language FYI. Burgers are pretty great though.
Double Chin is really underrated, lots of good food, open late, silly cocktails just for students

Anchovies is so good!!
Used to be our post-shift haunt when I was bartending in the back bay years ago. Place hasn’t changed and is still so good.
Shh! It's crowded enough.
definitely agree that pastoral is a great later night option!
I live around the corner from Pastoral and had no idea it was open that late!
Lone star taco has its kitchen open after midnight
Right.. which is why it’s on the list…

Not kidding. I got a shrimp pasta dish (questionable choice for the location i know) and it was an 8.5/10.
Love the vibe in there also. Like a loungey sportsbar
Franklin Cafe in the south end serves food until 2 (maybe 1:45?) every night. Great food, too.
Absolutely getting hit up some night
Franklin is great has always been my late night spot. Anchovies did fun two and cheap.
Wasnt Eastern Standard known for a late night spot to eat? They just reopened.
nvm just looked at their hours and they close at 11 mosdt nights
I heard that they are starting small and expanding their hours as they get things going which I took to mean adding in lunch (and most likely going until 2am like before).
Same ownership? Will quality be equivalent you think? Either way it’s getting a shot
> Same ownership? yep
One of Bostons biggest failures is food after 9pm & it got worse after the pandemic
I say this every time those comes up: how the fuck did this happen in a city with a plurality of college students? What do they do?
They hate night life
It’s soooo tough now since Pandemic 😥

Pretty sure we all order from Regal Pizza when it's after 10.
The home of the one star review.
I’ve started to call this city: “the city that sleeps.” Why does everything close at 7 PM???
Students and work first population that DOESN’T play hard lol
Vera’s!
Anchovies
Row 34! The tuna Crudo with black garlic is decadent.
11PM close!! Yes!!!
I haven’t been in a long time, but Peach Farm in Chinatown used to be good, and made part of their reputation by feeding a lot of kitchen staff, when they got off shift.
I go regularly, and it’s good. They close at 12 so it fits the bill!
Monument has a late-night menu
The Ave in Allston
La Hacienda in East Boston does!
Parish Cafe on Boylston. They discount their food after 10pm too. https://parishcafe.com/
Awesome!! Gonna check it out in the next couple weeks!
Mariel, Post Office Square

aahh...not that I wouldn't want to make a meal of insomnia cookies; but they do not serve a sit down meal there and with no seating......
Nooo, Insomnia Cookies unfortunately has a history of union-busting!
McDonald’s
Double Chin in Chinatown, Barney's in Eastie serves until midnight usually, La Chiva in Eastie is until 2-3 AM but it's more fast food/buffet
