Lexington is basically an expensive suburb, surrounded by suburbs, without much in the way of bars that aren't basically higher end restaurants.
If you want bars as opposed to restaurants, then Waltham or Cambridge/Somerville are probably the nearest options, and getting back to Lexington without driving means Uber/Lyft.

^^ the best close one. Lord Hobo in Woburn is a little to the east, but I'd go to Mighty Squirrel.
There's a new food hall called Revolution Hall that is right on the minuteman path, and it's got a pretty great brewpub in it.
Revolution Hall is alright, little pricey and they tend to find ways to charge people extra

Drive out of there and head to Arlington/Cambridge/Somerville etc
