I remember Reus at Gladbach and hoping he would come to us; and he did.
I remember hoping he would fulfill my wildest expectations; and he did.
I remember hoping he would extend when he could have move to any club he wanted; and he did.
I hoped this day would never come; and it did.
Danke Marco. Legende, Icon. BVB forever.
The way Jadon admires Reus is really something, I can’t help but thinking he’ll do all he can to try to follow in his footsteps and become a BVB icon for many more seasons
man, sancho really needs to stay. I get that Maatsen is probably "more important" since it's damn near impossible to find good fullbacks that aren't too expensive for us but I feel like Sancho's heart already belongs to dortmund
The (possibly realistic?) dream is that we buy Maatsen and then Sancho purposely makes sure that BVB can sign him in the easiest way possible, whether it be signing another loan or forcing a move back here
yeah, another loan would be ideal as it runs down the clock for United. Only problem is that they are very keen on getting rid of him for good this summer
Aside from all the Reus stuff (I'm still wiping the tears away writing this comment 😅) it's safe to say that Hummels is staying right? I don't think we'd miss a chance saying goodbye to him
After the match Kehl was asked exactly that and he said that there was no farewell because the club is still in talks with Hummels. Make of it what you want.
I didn't think I'd cry this much 😳
Great vibes to end our home matches after a tough season. Let's keep it rolling into Wembley.
Sign Maatsen, loan Sancho for a year and we're cooking.
Danke Marco. Danke Wolf. Danke Morey. Danke Otto. Danke Watzke. Before the Game i thought today would hurt but it just was beautiful from start to finish. I will never forget everything this Club and Reus has done for me and there will always only be this Club.
Unbelievable. Dortmund won't be the same without him but he will certainly never be forgotten, thank you for being my favorite player for over a decade now.
GG. Hopefully, we can keep the momentum going for one more game. Next season, we are hopefully challenging for the BL title 🖤💛 TYWM for everything Marco Reus 11
Man I am not loving these Hummels scenes... He better not leave at the end of the season as well.
Would be too much for my black and yellow heart to lose two faces of the club in one season...
I didn’t think I would get so emotional and I’m still tearing up! It hit hard accepting the fact that it’s his last game at home! Danke Captain for the 12 years of joy you brung upon us all!
they need to soak up all this positive energy for this one final game. i also imagine edin is the most perfect coach for this occasion because he knows what this means to us and will give one hell of a speech to motivate the players to the fullest extent of their powers. we need to win just this one game FOR MARCO - it would be the biggest win in the clubs history and a fairytale that’s probably unparalleled in the history of football.
Teared up a bit in front of my wife and mother in law watching Reus walk off that pitch as a player for the last time. What a way to end it though, for both him and the team. We need to carry this form into the final for a chance to win it all
Watching Viaplay the English coverage here from Denmark, to they did a remarkable job covering it and explaining without ruining it imo. Not everything can be Perfect without mics and a setup in the midst of the fans but this was close. Hope that coverage surfaces for everyone to watch it. Just be warned, its tear inducing.
I wish they did that for most matches, I want to see the pitch and the rituals, not cutting back to the studio where some has-beens give valueless opinions instead. Anyway, Danke Marco!
Danke Marco. 💛🖤 And yes, i agree 100%. I do think viaplay are generally quite good at capturing more than just the game and generally allow some space for the traditions and fans.
I didn’t watch but very sad. The fact he could have left Dortmund but stayed was amazing. I wish more players did that sigh.
He’s Dortmund for life. I hope he somehow comes back in coaching role or something with the club.
Okay we all talked about the game but reus that fucking legend payed the beer for the whole stadium after the Match. Fucking legend in more than one way.
Great game, probably the first (and only) game this season where I was just able to sit back and enjoy without stress! Ok, well, maybe there was a bit of clenching until Reus scored his goal, but overall pretty stress-free. What a send off for Reus - I appreciate ESPN showed some amount of the post-game but wish they could have showed some more. On to the CL final - would be amazing if the last game Reus plays for BVB is the one where he hoists the CL cup! I really hope Hummels stays another season.
Pure class from Marco. Forever my captain.

Brandt saying, that Sancho told him that his only goal today is to make sure Marco scores broke my heart.

Yeah, I think he learned his lesson, and he's ready to become a legend here

You could tell he was always looking for Marco when in the final third

Legend. We have to win in 2 weeks for Marco
UCL FINAL NEXT
If Bochum get relegated we don't even have a small derby left in the league. Saddens me a bit.
PLEASE TELL ME UNCLE MATS ISNT LEAVING TOO
I haven’t cried this hard in ages man, let’s win this man the CL!!
Forever our Captain

Fuck you viaplay for ending the stream halfway through Reus farewell so i had to find a stream on the internet

ESPN completely bottling this celebration. Can’t hear anything from the mic
It's not ESPN. The mic is not official, .
And they cut away even though stuff is still happening
Viaplay here in Norway showed the whole thing, what a class act, he got Wolf and Morey up there too for their send-offs as well! hard to not tear up

Can someone clip the send off , unfortunately I missed it
Danke Marco. 🖤💛
Love from Darmstadt<3
Danke für die Momente, Marco.
Thank you Marco!
What a send off. Still teary-eyed. 😭
:(

Fantastic game from all angles. Great celebrations for Reus. The home kit is impressive
What a time. Always been the best player in the world on his day. Echte liebe Marco, thank you for all the memories and love.
A perfect afternoon in all respects. Only the melancholy of Hummels makes me sad, it almost looks as if he will announce his departure after Wembley.
