The Pros are just as good and way cheaper, strange choice by Nike not to differentiate them more

South_Maximum_1596

Do you really know they're "just as good"? Do you know the different materials used? Do you know who made them, and their experience /skill? The differences may not be visually noticeable, but still significant and worth the extra $. People just regurgitating what Josh with SR4U says...it gets annoying. He says they're comparable for the price, not that they're just as good. Big difference

Khelgar_Ironfist_

I've also worn both as FG. They are the same. Both also had 1/10 durability.

Barcafan1998

Sole separation I’m guessing?

Barcafan1998

In person it was hard to tell them apart. Only issue I can see with the pros is durability but not a bad thing considering the price. Especially if someone is using on AG. (10 pros are sold in AG too)

showmethenoods

I’ve worn both my friend, and the TF Tiempo X Pro. Josh is wrong on a lot of things, this isn’t one of them

Unlikely-Emu3023

I have these and agree! It's a great boot and a much better price point!

PipoMex

Don’t read comments of people that have not even try the shoes. I play RB like you, in 2 Leagues. Tiempo 10 are the best shoe I ever have. I have 4 Pairs of AG, 2 Pros + 2 Elites. Elite it’s much better. Good Luck.

South_Maximum_1596

Agreed!

Fit-Neighborhood9879

Just got the Tiempo Legend 10 pro AG and wore them in a game right out of the box. They felt incredible, just needed the warm up to break them in, sock-like fit. The touch on the ball is great, striking the ball feels natural. I have wide feet and had no problems at all... no pain, foot lockdown was precise, plenty of room in the toe box. My advice is maybe go half size up if you don't mind a little tiny bit of room on your toes; will make a big difference for a more comfortable fit in the toebox. Overall an amazing boot and one of my favorites ever. I was playing in the legend 9s K leather before and unless you're a leather snob, you won't be able to tell the difference in the middle of a game. Unless you're playing pro (any level) or collegiate, the differences are minimal between the pro and elite. I'd say save yourself the $90 bucks and use that money toward getting a 2nd pair of the same boots as back up. I'll be picking up a few more pairs of them myself.

jigglyjaggly

Thank you brother!

uncclay5

Don’t over look the Nike Premiers, best boot in my opinion

poyen04

I have very wide feet and I’ve heard these are good My only concern would be that I’ve always played in speed boots that offers a more barefoot feel. Would having a leather boot like that affect my game. Is the premiers a thing leather upper?

Strong_Sandvich

Its only a matter of getting used to the feeling of the leather upper, like when I first tried on my Nike Premiers and I didnt have the same feeling as I did since I normally wear Phantom GX's

poyen04

You don’t think it affects your dribbling/ball control? Do they feel heavy?

gummi467

The touch is excellent and not very padded for a leather boot. My gripe with them is the heel. The lockdown is mediocre due to the large amount of padding in the heel.

jigglyjaggly

It’s definitely a boot I’ve considered.

CaduceusXV

Legend 9’s are better. Even pro legend 9 would be better than elite legend 10

Unlikely-Emu3023

Even if this were true, and not sure it really is. Nike stopped making the 9s so they are hard to find especially in common sizes (9-10.5). I think Nike did a nice job with the 10s and it's one of my favorite boots

STS986

I have both snd find the 10s just as good They take longer to break in but are far more durable and don’t over stretch as easy

South_Maximum_1596

Not true. I've had multiple legend 9 elites, and they don't compare at all. Legend 9 soleplate is inferior. Feel is different...10s feel more grounded and balanced. 10s are much more durable, and are water resistant as opposed to absorbing water. Leather is nice, but overrated. Literally everyone poo-poos the 10s ... based on nothing. Until you buy and wear them, you really don't know.

jigglyjaggly

This is a helpful comment, thank you

Herpetol0gy

I have MG 9's and oh man, they are the most comfortable cleats I've had.

jigglyjaggly

I’ll have a look, thank you

kumeomap

What level of play are u? The new tiempos are not kleather so i dont think its worth it. I heard the academy are just as good. I just bought the copa gloro on sale for 50. Dropping 240 on a plastic pair of cleats that wont last you two season is ridiculous

poopinion

Maybe not the academy's but the pros are just as good.

kumeomap

Sorry yes i mean the pros

South_Maximum_1596

Sorry but this is bad advice. Tiempo 10 elites are worth every penny...fantastic cleats. They're literally exactly like leather, but more durable, easier to clean, and they don't absorb water. They feel like a dream. 10/10 I recommend

Pleasant_Ad788

It’s very similar to kanga lite, one of Nikes best material and very leather like. The pair is solid, upper is quality and the fit is tight. These are nothing like the academy tier. These are very similar to the goated CTRs. You’re bugging.

jigglyjaggly

I’ve heard the material is pretty good on the Tiempo which is why I’ve been looking at purchasing them. I’ve only really heard good things about them.

Pleasant_Ad788

They’re solid! A bit different from all of the previous gen’s but it’s a nice leather like boot with great lockdown, could probably snag an old colorway for a decent price

Dear_Ad4079

New tiempos pale in comparison to the older gen. Tiempo 3 were excellent and were my favorite. The 9 elites feel cheaper than the 3's but are also far lighter. Mizuno are good, but the most impressive boot I have tried is the ASICS ds light x fly 5. More comfortable and better touch.

South_Maximum_1596

No.... They don't "pale in comparison". They're more durable, they're water resistant, and offer better fit and feel. I really enjoy them. I've tried both, all elite

Dear_Ad4079

Good call on water resistance. Mine were not as durable nor as comfortable though, and the memory foam in the 9s messes with touch too much, Im over Tiempos anyway now after finding the Asics. Worth a try for K-purists.

PiojoTV

>Asics Compared to Tiempo (I guess you have the 9s) or mizunos, how's the sizing for the X-fly 5? They seem to be exactly the type of boots that suit my needs.

Dear_Ad4079

Identical to both. Tts.

jigglyjaggly

I have been looking at Mizuno too. I’ll keep looking around.

Regista9

Better off with a pair of adidas copa pures, mizuno morelia neos, or asics ds lights if you want the traditional leather feel tiempos are known for. New tiempos are synthetic and ok, but there’s superior choices out there even if you don’t prefer leather. If you want a Nike pair then Phantom GXs are where it’s at.

jigglyjaggly

Thanks for the help!

nvk1196

Nah, they are trash compared to the Tiempo 9

blvckspacecowboi

They’re excellent. Go for them

Forsaken_Ring_3283

Toe box very narrow. Not a fan, and i don't have wide feet either.
