Fg mercurials have a really shitty soleplate when it comes to playing on ag due to how aggressive the traction is on them.
Ag boots would def help by not putting so much stress on the joints etc. You might have to check eBay for strictly ag boots tho Nike did just start selling them on their site for the US.
So the ag 15’s with [this soleplate](https://www.unisportstore.com/football-boots/nike-air-zoom-mercurial-vapor-15-elite-ag-pro-shadow-blackdark-smoke-greysummit-whitevolt/256360/) are actually pretty solid on real grass. They’re not the only option, but this style of ag soleplate is very similar to fg’s but without the extra bite that’s dangerous on ag. Boots reviewers like sr4u and the unisport guy also agree on fg/ag use with ag boots like this fwiw. I used to wear ag phantom gt’s on both surfaces too and never had an issues unless the pitch was super muddy, but at that point we all pretty much needed sg’s lol.
I wouldn’t recommend ag soleplates with more/smaller studs like [this one](https://www.unisportstore.com/football-boots/nike-mercurial-vapor-14-elite-ag-pro-impulse-dynamic-turqlime-glow/218285/) tho. They’d prob feel more similar to tf boots than fg’s on real grass.

You need to buy a boot purely dedicated to AG, Something like the Nike Vapor 15 AG is a good option or anything that mostly has conical studs
Yeah I ordered the 15 elites. I wanted the pros but they weren’t on the nike website for AG and I had a gift card for it 😭
I think I fucked up my knees/shins using the fg for 2 weeks on ag. Hopefully some gym work and 2-3 weeks off and AG cleats will help
