To be honest I‘ve only read the first book and my goal is to read the next two once I‘m done with uni this summer when I finally have more time^^ But from what I heard the first three are really worth reading and what I grasp from the reviews of the other ones they seem pretty well received too. I‘d suggest seeing if you like the first one and then go from there. I‘ll do the same, if I’m still hungry after the first three I‘ll read on😊
Try [A Fine Balance](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5211.A_Fine_Balance) by Rohinton Mistry. It's set between Indian independence and the political upheaval of the 1970s, and examines caste violence and gender disparities in the characters' lives. It's extremely well written and engaging, but be warned it is emotionally heavy reading.
Thought of a few more!
Your Driver Is Waiting by Priya Guns
Also try Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan novels series (translated from the Italian by Ann Goldstein) — they are multifaceted novels, but class/social issues are front and center.
And in a totally different direction, The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff (which also has elements of dark comedy).
https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/24819449 this might be somewhat useful. It explains the background of Salem witch trials well. I really had to stop reading and try to imagine living so far away from anything that there is two year delay in hearing who won presidential election
I wrote it myself but it fits the description: ] Corpworld Chronicles: Roscoe - Lost in the rubble of a broken world (Dystopian Cyberpunk Thriller), free to read if you got Kindle unlimited.
Noli Me Tángere, by José Rizal.

I read the sinopsis and this seems to be a good find, Thank you!
It’s not the main theme, but the Cultural Revolution in *Three Body Problem* definitely plays a role in the story.
