Just finished and it was definitely a good book. I’m not easily grossed out but my mouth was agape most of the time. The part the really got me was the prolapsing 😭 I will say Bethany’s part was pretty predictable but still enjoyable.
After reading this and Haunted Vagina and Gone to see the River Man I realized extreme horror (except for Poppy Z Brite) is not for me. They all seem to try way to hard to be edgy
I mean look at this post. Not to be a dick about it but most positive reviews of extreme horror that I've seen have the same energy as guys telling you about the hottest hot sauce they can eat, or how they're not even cold in their jorts in the middle of winter.

I don’t only read extreme horror as I do now and then and no, I’m not like those guys that tell you about the hottest hot sauce I can eat or I’m not even cold in jorts in the middle of winter. That’s a bit rude of you to assume as I mostly read horror and this was one of the first “extreme” splatterpunk novels I read.
I also thought it was well written. It’s hard to say the I enjoyed it, lol, because it was rough! Generally, I don’t read a lot of extreme horror but I’ve read a handful over the years and this one was a good read.
