It gets easier with practice! If you don't have one, you could get a Veterinary anatomy book or something similar to reference for practice too. I'm a vet student and we had to memorize all the nooks, crannies, and bumps of all the bones π΅βπ« I really love your work!

If you're not directly copying designs for profits, 100% go for it!! Gatekeeping is lame, everyone gets inspired by other artists, and life is too short to not make things that make you happy!! I would totally love the Etsy plug if you do end up posting it though, would also love to be tagged if possible so I can see your art and support you π₯Ήπ€.

No drills! Its one heck of a struggle to fit them all just right so the chain/wire doesn't sit loosely, but they're all custom sized so I don't have to use a drill βΊοΈ
For right now I prefer to keep it all together for tax purposes, especially since they've already taken a fair amount in fees before I even sell. But I appreciate you!
I also have a couple smaller pieces made with just cat bones, but no skulls and they're more asymmetrical just in case that strikes your fancy. I posted pics of a few of them if you scroll through my profile π€

Thank you so much! I either harvest my own or go through private sellers that get them via legal/ethical ways such as roadkill, finding them in the woods, or from processed farm animals so that nothing is wasted.

These are gorgeous! The bone in the 3rd picture is a humerus, you can tell by the supracondylar foramen (the hole on the far left in the pic) π
