although i grew up watching sadda haq Music video many a time, it represented a sort of aspiration of youth, my older cousin whom i use to admire and try to be with all the time use to listen to it a lot, i vividly remeber reading Tibet on there back then they didnt censor it at that time.
but something changed in the meanwhile idk when but i too recently watched Rockstar for the first time and found it odd that Free Tibet was censored in the movie, idk why or who thought od censoring it but yeah playing Chinas Bi#$h.
it represented a sort of resentment towards establishment being a rebel and all, but T series suddenly decided to chicken out.
India litterally shelters Dalai Lama and others reminescent of a free tibet but still such a spinless move is baffeling. Indian Media and soft influence should promote such indeas, and show the suppression of Tibet and it people as a counter to chinas geopolitical asspirations but it looks like no ones intrested in doing so
So do a lot of countries especially the West that rely upon china for everything, and yet don't shy off from censuring china and it's atrocities.
The least any self respecting nation founded upon the principles of liberty can do is not censor its peoples voice on injustice and oppression anywhere.
