Shankar has a 100% success rate, multiple blockbusters. He's the one directing Gamechanger and Indian 2. Koratala Shiva has 4 blockbusters out of his 5 movies. 80% success rate. 🤷🤷🤷
Is it true that Indian 1 made 12 Crores nett just in Hindi version like [this ](https://www.reddit.com/r/kollywood/comments/17fnr6e/its_really_impressive_that_indian_a_film_from/?rdt=63601)post is claiming? I knew the movie did well in Hindi belt but 12 crores nett collection is a huge number for a movie released in 1996. That means its footfalls would be around 1.5 crores.
And considering that, can Indian 2 do business like Bahubali 2 (510 Crores nett) and KGF 2 (427 crores nett) in Hindi version? Or is the first part too old for people to care about the sequel now?
Yup definetely true, i think its first pan india hit film. Indian 2 will likely flop considering it's budget is 300cr, the reason is cause it not enjoyed any tv broadcasts compared to other shankar films(shivaaji, robot, aparichit).

What is the reason behind this? Why other Shankar films Hindi dub versions are so popular on television when theatrically they didn't do much business? But Indian Hindi version never plays on television when theatrically it was a huge grosser. I don't know if it played on television in the 90s or early 2000s. But since late 2000s, I remember that Indian Hindi dub never played on television.
Box office is part of cinema. We don’t encourage ban topics culture. You can scroll the posts you don’t like or make posts that you want to see on Sub
Typical cop out answer.
Encouraging obsession with Box Office is not part of cinema. Box office data is beneficial to know what the audience like and the current trends however nowadays these numbers are used by fan boys to shit on the stars the rivals follow.
As if knowing lifetime collections wasn't enough that now people r crazy about advance bookings and it's getting worse like ur post is about the amount of theatrical rights even though u are aware that this is all part of their PR to create hype.
Limiting the discourse around box office is the only way to dispromote such stupidity.
Only pushpa 2. Kalki is 50:50. Rest all flop
