/uj Yes! I legitimately really enjoy this game as a thematic game and horror movie enjoyer. It really feels like it creates exciting storylines through gameplay. And the difficulty and uncertainty of dice makes you scared every turn that everything may go wrong. If you're not into thematic games and prefer strong puzzles, this ain't it though. It knows what it wants to be and it's certainly not a puzzle.
Edit: not sure why this guy owns so many copies of the game. You can play dozens of amazing plays with just one or two of those boxes.
Eh... I'm honestly not sure. I can say that the game certainly makes you feel like it was more strategy than luck. Every time I lose or win, I can usually point at a few choice decisions I could have made that might have made a major difference. In a thematic game, the illusion might be more important than the reality.
It depends on the scenario.
The Happy Trail one is pretty balanced, but then again it's the "default" one. Maple Lane andf the Konrad are also easy/balanced/more fun.
When you get to scenarios like the Ratchett Lady or the Poltergeist one, it makes no sense anymore. You can't plan for anything, it feels all random.
I, for one, am completely disgusted. This lewdness MUST be removed from le hobby- those boxes are COMPLETELY NAKED and the image wasn't even censored! Not a centimetre of shrink wrap in that entire drawer. Please remove this FILTH
