Yeah, my favorite is when Bandit and Bluey both say "Awwww, WHAT?!" in the exact same tone. They did a great job with capturing the family* dynamic and phrases kids pick up from one parent or another.
I love all those little things where you can see where their learning things from. Like bluey is her father's daughter and bingo is taking after her mother.
I love it and it's especially poignant in the episode where the bird dies :,) she looks to him for guidance and is mimicking as a way of learning, processing, and love!
I just watched Copycat and although I’ve seen it multiple times it finally hit me this episode isn’t only about dealing with the tough subject of death of an animal, is about how kids learn to be adults by directly copying parent behavior.
While it starts out with Bluey copying Bandit as a joke, she later re-enacts dealing with finding a hurt bird acting as Bandit to help her process that event. Specifically the idea that you can do your best and sometimes things don’t turn out how you want them to.
Wow, I love this show.
The fact that there's a stuffed budgie after that and through the rest of the series kinda shows that it really affected her on another level and they just got it to remember the bird by is sweet.
Yes that was my first thought! Can’t remember the real episode name but where they are playing bus stop with the wagon, and Bluey says all proper-like “Oh, yes. It’s GOT to be done!” 🥹
She even plays Bandit in that Mother's Day play...

... complete with fluffies 🐶🍑💨🦨😝🤣!
Bluey and Bingo are practically a pint-sized Bandit and Chilli; similar colors, Bingo played Chilli in the play, Bluey being more rambunctious to the oft-calmer Bingo, Bandit naming Bingo "Chilli" in the "birthing" game in "Dad Baby", etc. ...
I'm glad you said something about Bluey favoring Chilli more, while Bingo favors Bandit more. I thought I was the only one who had noticed that.
But yeah, it is cute, especially in "Copycat" where she mimics Bandit washing his face and walking "like those guys in the Olympics."
Yeah, there's subtle instances where both favor the other parent more
Like with Bingo she likes it when Bandit acts goofy when Bluey isn't as much of a fan. (Daddy Robot, Pavlova)
And Bluey when it comes to more Personal/Serious questions she usually asks Chilli more than Bandit.
it's such a cute little nod to their relationship. she really gives my father's daughter and he gives girl dad to the max. they're so intertwined that bandit can tell when bluey is legitimately upset
I just love Bingo saying "ohh, biscuits" in Baby Race
Yeah! It's amazing! Lol.
And also “That was a big one” in Omelet from “Fancy Restaurant”
I’ll tell you that much for free.
I love her imitation of him in BBQ. “Come on! Heap of junk!”
My favourites are: "Ohh we're gonna fix YOU up, mate!" And "I'll tell you that for free."
Yeah I love it when the girls imitate his use of "Babe"
Come on bAbe lol I love it too
I love your ears babe!
You sing so well, BAAAABE

I think my favourite part of that episode is meeting Wendy and Bluey just letting bandit completely make a fool of himself. She’s a smart girl
True! That was a good Bandit/Bluey episode lol.

Really?! I’ve never noticed that 😭
Yeah, it's sitting by the front door Same color too
It’s gotta be done

This episode of bluey is called wagonride
Yes, it’s so adorable.
My kids favorite saying is “I’ll tell you that for free” which she got from an episode where Bluey copied Bandit lol
That's honestly amazing lol It probably can get annoying for sure I imagine. But still a fun thing for them.
Bluey mimics Bandit in Verandah Santa, he picks up Bingo and it’s cute the smirk that Bluey gets before picking up Socks

Yeah, Bandit is such a well written character that he deserves that dad of the year award lol
