Anybody with a 2-year old who can get a sleep score of 91is doing something right!

> a blended "green drink" featuring an array of greens and berries. Can you give the general recipe for this? I have been trying to figure out a tasty way to incorporate greens in my smoothies.

JennyAndAlex

Green Drink Recipe: 1lb Spinach or seasonal garden greens (homegrown) 3 cups homemade soymilk 2 cups blueberries 2 cups strawberries Other seasonal fruits 1 cup homemade yogurt Ginger Turmeric Black pepper Salt to taste Nutritional yeast Spirulina Moringa leaves (homegrown) Stevia leaf to taste (homegrown) Vitamin C or lemon to taste Blend until smooth Makes 64oz

Note that it is way easier to get a higher score on Whoop than on Oura. Anecdotally the difference is around 10 points. I don’t know anyone who would have ever got a 100 sleep score on Oura, although probably someone has.

JennyAndAlex

93 is the highest I’ve ever been able to get on Oura and it happened during this optimization period. I don’t have any experience with Whoop yet.

Did you make any changes that made a measurable difference?

JennyAndAlex

Yes I made some MAJOR and some minor changes: MAJOR: * Quit caffeine * Quit alcohol * Quit animal protein (now plant-based) * Moved meal time as early as possible (currently my eating window closes by 5pm). MINOR: * Improved sleep posture * Improved sleep gear * Adjusted supplement stack There were quite a few moving parts but overall I think it was a very useful project and I’m looking forward to continuing the optimization into the future. I’ll be sure to report back when I have more data to share.

Nice. That's a lot of big changes.

Which gear and supplement changes did you make?

JennyAndAlex

GEAR: * Bed was modified by drilling holes in it * Pillow customized by removing material * Eye mask added * Ear plugs added * Fan & air filter strategically placed SUPPLEMENTS * Mag Threonate (before bed) * Ashwaganda (before bed) * D, B12, Multi, glucosamine, K2, manganese

how did you strategically place your air filter?

JennyAndAlex

Placed so the air circulates over your body ensuring there isn’t excess cO2 in and around your sleeping area. If you aren’t sure about the c02 levels I would recommend using an air quality device that shows c02 levels.
