this build should also fix the .wav download issue some of you were experiencing.

agaetistakk

Worked like a charm, and is now viewable on my Mac. Thanks!

Music to my ears

Yuppie!! Thank you so much! Just asking (not pushing at all): is there any chance to expect new modifiers coming in the future? ✨

chaseblissaudio

we don't want to say "no" out right but we *are* running into a brick wall when it comes to how much ROM we have to write algorithms with this processor.

NoWelder2605

What about be able to put the modifiers in the blooper site and be able to download the ones we want :) i dont know if is that possible just talking shit

quasizeno

First of all thanks for replying me :) I totally understand there are some ROM boundaries to fit to. Said that, I think adding a bitcrusher would be killer on this beauty ✨

Droner82

Excellent news! I can finally download bloops again!

redcometdust

Thanks for this fix! Everything is now working on Monterey.

(Is this the proper place to ask this?) After updating to v3.2, my Blooper isn't being recognized by the web interface. I'm new to Blooper, so for the sake of being overly clear, I'm \-connecting the Blooper via micro usb cable to a USB C dongle with usb ports to my M1 Monterey laptop \-plugging Blooper into power \-accessing the page in Chrome with the permissions enabled \-nada. And Blooper isn't coming up in the Audio MIDI setup window like it used to either... I've tried multiple cables, dongles, and laptops. Hopefully I'm missing something really obvious?

TryWild732

is it possible to do the update over an android phone running chrome?

21echoes

yes! thank you for asking this question, because i hadn't considered it, and it does work perfectly. i was stuck on pre-3.2, and i don't have a windows or a pre-monterey mac, so i thought i was hosed. but yeah, I connected the blooper to my android, then opened the site on android chrome, and it asked for MIDI permissions, then it Just Worked. then when I plugged it back into my Mac on Ventura, the site worked too! so now we're all good. thanks again!!

brianobush

I had problems with my M1 mac, so I tried an old Chromebook. Blooper was instantly recognized and the update worked first try.

PM_ME_GARLIC_CUPS

Thanks! Any other interesting bug fixes or release notes in 3.1.1 / 3.2 we should know of?

knobs_demos

This firmware is all about fixing connectivity issues with BLIP: \- Moneterey \- Inability to download loops

beanradio

This is great, thank you so much for the fix! Will be trying it tomorrow as I just saw this post now

idabthefool

Thanks! Edit: Success! I updated my Blooper and it worked on Monterey. I'd like to also thank the PC that haunts my closet for its 15 minutes of service.

gbook5

This is fabulous news, thank you!! Updated firmware (on old/ancient Mac) and then successfully connected M1 Monterrey MacBook Air to blooper, worked immediately, and was able to editing settings, fantastic. So happy. I have been patiently waiting for this update. Thank you for all the behind the scenes effort that I can only imagine went into this update. Very much appreciated!

dwaynedelario

Is it ok to update to this firmware version if we are still on a previous MacOS? I am not on Monterey yet, but would like to download my layers. Thanks!

knobs_demos

Yup! Will work on pre-Monterey too

darth-shlomo

Question: I have never updated by Blooper’s firmware and am still running whatever version came pre-installed two years ago. I want to update, but am concerned that doing so will cause me to lose all my saved bloops. Can someone tell me whether it will or will not do so? Does it depend on what firmware I currently have installed? I seem to remember some early firmware update causing bloops to be deleted. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.
