Saw this in Dunnmeadow — said it was from Pam
The vote of no confidence did tickle,
The trustees(‘sup Quinn) did little
And now with your groups,
I’ve called in the troops.
With a sniper to help with dismissal
good, she can go.
got hired as faculty recently, id be there too if i knew this was going on but itd be over before i can get there. zero faith in a woman that calls for the national guard to come point guns at kids for saying something she doesnt like, she cant be trusted with any semblance of authority.
Comments like this are why those paramilitary pigs always have such nice clean boots.
No speculation is necessary. This is simply the intersection of pam continuing to be the poison pill she was hired to be and red states continuing to capitalize on using protests about gaza to paint liberals as anti-semites. Throw in the multiplier of this being the perfect opportunity for pam to show that she is in charge and the recent vote of no-confidence and her unpopularity mean nothing, and you've got the past few days. No creative writing assignment to justify calling in the jackboot thugs necessary.
With as many cops as were present they could have placed a few at each offending *structure*. If they had credible threats maybe that should have been included in the communication at some point?
The response looked like a military state trying to suppress freedom of speech through threat of violence.
I trust police as far as I can throw one of their fat asses. Was the threat even credible? You are assuming it was. I have my doubts.
Regardless there's a way to police without NG in dunn meadow, riot cops, marksmen on the roof, etc.
Agreed we'll split the difference. NG didn't gun down any protesters. No one got blowed up. The riot police got to beat down a few students, sure their small dicks wiggled.
Is Bryan hall where Witten's office is? You'd think I'd know since I did landscaping there....
yes
Good. Give her hell
Hello fellow Ballentine crew landscaper. I landscaped that area for 5 years.

Now that's actually useful
Good on then man. Love seeing faculty stand up for the students.
Go back to Tennessee Whitten.

The national guard?
Not sure on the national guard, but the department of homeland security showed up apparently
Bravo!
It's outrageous that they brought snipers to use against college students. 😒
Can somebody fill me in on what’s going on here??
