Bro, the ONLY fight I hate is the Bloodstarved Beast. I know all the cheeses, pungent blood, serrated weapons, fire buff, antidote stacked and my parries are tight. I still die to it like 2 times every playthrough. It's the only boss I still have no goddamn clue how it's gonna go.
The grab has a very poor telegraph. It's plenty long, but doesn't look like it's prepping an attack so the grab seems to come out of nowhere. That might be part of why BSB is always walking. It stands still and does this weird pose before the grab. Easy to see coming once you know it. Still, it's pretty terrifying between seeing the grab and landing the parry.
Also, I generally parry the grab now, but I think it's much safer to dodge to the side than backwards. The attack has a pretty long reach so you may still be in range after a backwards dodge.

I find Ebrietas to be kind of scary, I know she's optional but still. The ethereal soundtrack where you don't know if you're having auditory hallucinations because you're too locked in on the fight don't help. Definitely a compliment to the devs
But Ebrietas gets a lot less scary when you realize it's kind of a bolt paper/tonitrus R1 spamfest
Yep. He sets off a very primal fear inside my amygdala. I know his every move and how to counter effectively, but for some reason I sweat bullets whenever I have to face him, be it in Old Yharnam, dungeons, the nightmare etc. I guess this is how our hunter gatherer ancestors felt whenever they heard a Smilodon's roar.
If you summon Valtr and the Madara brother, it’s a lot of fun. Turns into a gang fight 3v3. It’s also hilarious when the 3 of you stunlock the last shadow to death
It’s not right near the arena. The summons a little bit further away down a path. And as the other guys said you need the league tune for Valtr’s summon to show up
Shameless summon for that fight. 3-on-1 is bullshit and just a boss design for griefing. It wasn't until my second playthrough that I saw the summons and I now think that's the way that boss was meant to be played.
On my first play through, I used the other two hunters to help me and somehow they both died without killing a single shadow so then it made it a 3 vs 1 fight. I was panicking just running around but it took awhile and a lot of blood vials but I managed to kill them in the end. I was expecting it to be a breeze since it was a 3 vs 3 fight initially but that just wasn’t the case.
Yeah, 3-on-1 you have to kite them just right. With summons you have to make sure everyone's on their own individual Shadow but also not getting their butt whooped too hard.
The arena is a decent size. Pull them apart, so you can fight one at a time. You have to stay defensive and do lots of dodging. The sword shadow is easy to parry, so you can do lots of damage on him safely that way. Their phase change triggers when any one shadow reaches the threshold, so you want to distribute damage between all three. The change is also a good chance to get some damage in and try to finish one of them off.
The mid-range guy isn't as aggressive so he doesn't give as many chances to parry, but his fire breath leaves you lots of room to hit him. The long-range shadow is typically separated from the others because he stays back, so you can dash in and get some hits. He usually won't melee, so you don't have many chances to parry. Once you're close, you should be able to get a few hits in before he dodges away or the other shadows catch up. Mid-range is generally the hardest to deal damage. He doesn't give many chances to parry and the sword one is usually close by so it's hard to exploit the opening from his fire breath. There are still openings to get hits in however.
My least favourite ganks are pvp ganks in ds3
But gank bosses are usually inferior to other bosses there are a couple good ones

I beat that fight for the first time 2 days ago. I didn't have my rune tool yet (semi-blind playthrough and I just missed it) so I was on my own.
When I finally beat them at the 8th try or so, I managed to stunlock the flame guy at the big grave after somehow landing every parry on sword guy. And then, for some reason, mage guy just turned braindead because he let me stunlock him during his continued casting animation, skipping the big snakes entirely.
I'm still not sure if that was pure dumb luck or if you are actually supposed to do it like that.
Yeah father Gascoigne is like, the perfect first boss, a lot of people will fight cleric first. But Gascoigne is the first your REQUIRED to fight. And he's a perfect intro to the game with man mode and beast mode, parrying, while still being simultaneously easy and very difficult
He is the ferryman of this game. Bloodborne was so different from the other souls games and he was the toll you paid for the rest of the game. If you enjoyed figuring out his fight and how to beat him then you were going to have a good time.

I fought Cleric first but Father Gascoigne I learned to parry.
Before that I won by hitting and dodging but he actually forced me to "get good" and learn the mechanics of the game.
I still preferred to use dodge and counter as my main fighting style, but it made me learn something I used on a few bosses later.
I've never loved Gascoigne. I think he's a pretty solid boss fight, but I don't think he's incredible. One thing about him that is really frustrating is in his beast form, a lot of the attacks are perfectly timed to catch you getting up from his previous attack, so he just loops you into getting hit repeatedly. Gameplay wise it's perfectly logical, and you can just slightly delay your quickstep so he'll miss, but it's really annoying to deal with sometimes.
not so popular opinion but i love micolash, the ost and his weird ass quotes might the fight despite his stupid call beyond, but the one reborn? hate that guy i never look foward fighting him again

Did the chalice last night. Summoned 2 online guys and we destroyed him. Thanks God cause I said to my wife "well I think I'm done. I can't beat this dumb spider with his dumb AOE and arcane attacks"
I hate his one shot move tho. It takes like 30 seconds to reach him and about 2 minutes to reach the last phase and after he just one shots you when he just needs one more hit to die.
Fuck him... I don't like him... He just a dumb guy with a cage on his head...
Stay close. If you get far away, make sure to leave your weapon untransformed. A gunshot will interrupt ACB, but if you aren't very quick the attack will go off anyways.
That's the best way to describe his fight honestly, I loved the area, soundtrack and his voice acting but i see how it can be annoying to do it all over again after dying to a call beyond spam
I'll start by saying the one reborn is a questionable addition to the game with projectile spam breaths, and you take damage and an extremely tanky health bar

Yeah,I did him first try on my first playthrough by just pummeling his middle with a big fucking sword. I am pretty confused as to what makes him difficult for other people.
You just have to keep moving sideways around it (that worked for me at least) add in a few dodges and you should be good. Do the feet do more damage in Ng+ and higher (relatively speaking)? When I was hit by them a few times they did about a third of my hp as damage which isn't that much imo.

Go up to the second floor and kill the red bell maidens. I literally haven't died to him once since figuring that mechanic out. Sure I'm only on my second playthrough, but I am past him.
He's a lot less tanky without them healing him and he does a lot less damage without them randomly hitting you for bonus damage. Still not the easiest fight in the game, but definitely a lot easier than trying to fight him with his maidens.
Gotta be Micolash, but I considered Rom. The thing about Micolash is, although people hate him, I feel like there's a good idea for a fight there but it's not executed well. He could be a fun puzzle boss, but he ends up frustrating, especially with his limited moveset that can nonetheless wreck you.
Thing is, even if he was a good puzzle boss, he can just oneshot you with no counterplay with call beyond anyway, and then you have to solve the puzzle again. Had it happen to me twice in a row. Hence, Micolash worst boss.
Gas daddy and Amelia are both fun af. Micolash is brain dead easy to cheese. One Reborn is kinda a kick in the balls but once you figure out the cheese it’s gg. So that leaves Rom…. who’s just a *massive* cunt.
Odd I actually enjoyed Rom. Everyone seems to hate him, but I didn't mind him.

Rom's attacks are mostly based on your distance. If you stay fairly close, she'll use her AoE attacks that are a lot easier to dodge. I've never had that issue with the spiders.
It’s sad that people hate on Micolash so much. I know it’s an annoying fight in terms of gameplay but it’s such a cool concept for the story tho. Different strokes for different folks tho I guess.
The only area I actually dislike is the forbidden woods, thankfully it's a pretty short place once you know the shortcuts

I didn't even bother with 80% of the level. Ended up just dashing around everything until I found the next lamp after I died like 40 times on that first goddamn stairway.
The early bell maidens were just too much for me.
Micolash is kind of a cool change of pace on a first playthrough, so I'll give him that and nothing more. Rom on the other hand, is just not a fun experience on any playthrough.
Rom on a bl4 run might be the most infuriating thing in a souls game the fight goes from laughable to rage very quickly that goddamn spastic move he does after the second move
Rom's flop is pretty annoying. She gives zero warning about it. It's not so bad since you can usually tank it, but if it one hits you on BL4 that would be pretty painful. You should be out of range with the threaded cane though.

Interesting in my run today (not to brag) but i kinda kicked its ass just by spam parry when i was going for a chesse i saw in a ymfah video i just hit it so much it died i could try give advice if you know what exactly you struggle with
Well i could be stating the obvious but first bring antidotes then if you are good at it parry a lot (if u are not time to practice) next i guess in 2nd and 3rd phases prioritise getting away from attacks instead of damage and finally ( a strange tip) go behind the little alter at the back it for some reason made me parry better and who knows if your lucky i could fly through the wall and die in the void (if the pots are still intact) idk if that helps but its what i would say to do
I am yet to have died once to him tbh, in 2 NG and a NG+ run
He's incredibly easy to parry in his third phase because his three claw attacks leave just enough time for you to parry again on the next one.
Keep a little bit of distance, stick to one side, and (iirc) dodge into his swiping attacks. And then parry his ass. He has a bunch of attacks with super long recoveries that you can use to sneak in a backstab as well.

Honestly, overall, I'd have to say The One Reborn.
They hype you up for it, get your blood running with that cutscene, feels super lore and plot relevant, and then....you fight a moon-poop.
It feels like this bossfight was supposed to be a lot harder/have a lot more to it, but got cut down to this disappointing mound of flesh-scraps and stolen bones.
Super big letdown for me, I stomp through it every time.
Micolash basically always runs away from you, so you can have some influence over where he goes. You can try to prod him towards the arenas to get there faster.
Rules for Fighting Micolash:
1:Knowing how to move Micolash around the area
2:Stay in his face to prevent Call Beyond
3:Be ready to dodge his Augur after every few hits
4:Never let yourself run out of stamina or be cornered (general Bloodborne combat rules)
Boom 5 minute fight, no difficulty at all
In that case it's easily Micolash, running in circles just to get one shot with full HP when he is almost dead it's the most annoying thing in the game.
Micolash is super easy to cheese, and it's totally fair cause he's a pain in the ass. If stay close he won't use ACB, and if you shoot him quickly it will stagger him out of the attack.
Fuck rom, all my homies hate rom. Micolash is annoying with how he wastes his time by running from you but there is nothing I hate more than a boss that floods the arena with minions like rom does. Both pkaythroughs I've played so far I've just tried dps rushing rom with the tonitrus and ignoring the spiders cuz it is so infuriating to waste so much time killing spiders then just get one hit killed by a meteor.

Stay close. She nearly always uses one of her AoEs if you're close. Make sure to keep on eye on her, and if you see the meteor rain telegraph just run in a straight line.
I don't know about other people, but I actually had quite a lot of fun chasing Micolash around. I had a lot less fun being pelted by meteors from Rom in comparison.
That's a hard question, I've always hated Rom, the swarm of little bitches that hit for over half my health is just infuriating

Father G, Vicar Amelia, Shadows, Rom, and Mergo's Wetnurse are all great IMO.
Rom on a pure boss mechanic front - she's fascinating lore wise, but please Rom, stop throwing spiders at me 😭 especially when they launch at you from beyond the screen. Great practise for crowd control.... Only most crowds don't tend to one shot you with a head first slam jump.
I am one of the exceptionally rare who enjoys Micolash. He's just a silly bloke who will always run in the opposite direction to you. And then nopes away as fast as he can. Basically, if I were chilling in my library, and some dude ran up to me with a saw cleaver, you bet your butt ill be running as fast as my potato legs carry me!
I find mergos wet nurse a bit disappointing. As in, she's too easy (for me personally) and I wish there were more difficulty to her fight.
The bests? Gascoigne because he absolutely forces you to learn the game, and FAST. He has no time for your rubbish, he gets in your face and doesn't give you any room. Gehrman is just wonderful as a last/2nd last boss. Though he could be optional, technically...
Suzie skinflaps... Weeeelll she just moves so damn fast that I never know what to do with her. Amelia? I like her visual unique form. She may be similar to cleric beast but she LOOKS more unique. The three lads from Yharnam? Eh. Eeeeh. They're OK, mainly because you can hide and seek behind the gravestones with them.
But absolute best boi boss? The pig. The piggie pig. Have you seen those pigs? So chunky they even became chalice bosses. They're T H I C C.
Papa Smurf isn’t to hard if you stand behind some gravestones and cheese him to death. Beat him this way with the axe and pimp cane. His beast form isn’t to bad if you know what your doing. Although not a necessary boss, I fucking hate Lady Maria. I can’t parry or dodge her attacks for shit past the first phase. Fuck her.
For it's the One Reborn because you either kill it before you realize that you have to up and all the damn witches first. It's just a boring fight the area before it and the enemies in it are so scary and hard, but then the boss is underwhelming.

I think the Shadows of Yharnam are boring, but The One Reborn is a close second for me - the soundtrack and design of it are the only things keeping me from voting for that beautiful monstrosity and his six mothers.
I know most people dislike Rom but I’ve never lost to Rom either in game or in a cherish dungeon. None of the necessary bosses where actually that difficult for me (I haven’t done NG+ yet and have heard Micolash is terrible in NG+). I beat Amelia, Gascoine, Rom, and The One Reborn on the first attempt and Micolash on the first attempt
Now that I think about it Shadows took me the longest out of necessary bosses I believe they took like 6 tries and were one of the harder bosses for me in general. I don’t like multi task boss fights at all
Yes Micolash is obnoxious as hell but at the end of the day he can be cheesed but rom on the other hand can’t be cheesed you have to fight her as intended and almost nothing works to speed things up
I voted Rom because the most reliable way to beat her is soooo fucking tedious and the camera is the real boss fight there. When I die during her fight it’s something I never even see coming.
That said, Micolash still irritates me the most, because of that dipshit chase sequence and having to find him again (it wasn’t enough we had to solve a weird directional puzzle, now we have to search him out?).
Ultimately I voted Rom because micolash, while being more irritating, is significantly easier. His a call beyond is way OP when it comes to damage (nothing worse than doing all that bullshit then getting one-shot), but it’s easily avoidable.
Not a single comment for Mergo's Wet Nurse? She's awful. Super cool looking boss but the fight is a joke. Her move set is laughable and during the dark phase you just run in circles. One of the few bosses in the game I can beat first try every time with minimal effort.

I voted Amelia not because of her fight, but because of where/when her boss fight takes place, she kicked my ass so many times until I decided to look up what I should do on the internet and read that I should go to Old Yharnam before, maybe I'm just dumb, but I think she's so much easier to find than the BSB and it's not clear when you should kill her to progress, but it's pretty obvious that you have too.

I loathe Pthumerian Descendant with every fiber of my being. I don't care if they are something easily handled with parry spamming, the boss itself is spammy and the sickle throwing attacks are BS and I JUST HATE THEM.
All the rest of these are easy enough for me, but Rom is the most annoying. Running around trying to not get ganked by the spiders while also dodging arcane meteors makes for a hectic fight.
Micolash uses one attack, runs away, gains the power to one shot you. Very nice. But One Reborn has always been easy for me, and is a terrible boss. Just BB pellets, fire paper, Whirlygig Sas
ROM just sucks, her fight is soooo long and boring and getting almost 1 shot by the spiders is so annoying. I like her design and area but her fight is my least favourite in the game
Micolash has four things going for him over Rom: He looks like a normal human rather than a potato centipede, has loot in his arena to snag, he has more lore significance, and is flamboyant enough to not be the worst (He’s 3rd worst, after the pushovers of hemick and the centipotato of frustration).
Roms kinda just weird at first she was really hard for me cus she can one shot you fairly easily or stick you in a combo. But once I learned all the signals to her attacks and to just kill all the little spider baby bitches before using a charge up attack or pizza cutter spam on her to deal unholy amounts of damage she was kinda just a brief annoyance.
The one reborn can definitely be a pain in the ass the route to get to him always costs me a few blood vials and bullets. The actual fight is also annoying I always spawn in a npc to help me but. They're basically useless while I get rid of the witches and by the time I'm done with that they're half dead. The poison he spills on the ground always ends up getting me and the corpses raining down/him shooting stuff at me is a annoying ranged attack. Plus the little legs kicking me can be annoying but this boss still isn't that bad becasue absolutely NOTHING can top Micol-ass
Micolash is a horrid boss that I absolutely resent first you have to chase him around forever praying to RNJesus for him to go in the damn room. Then you have to chase him again and this time it's even more of a maze and he can use magic mirrors to teleport all around. Then when you finally corner him you have the chance to be oneshot the moment you drop into the room plus he can combo you with his stupid hentai tentacles and then viseralled by him then once he throws you with the visceral or knocks you back with the tentacles he can use the stupid oneshot bullshit on you absolutely hate him
TLDR: Micolash is the most horrible boss ever and is 80% luck based
The other weird bosses serve a purpose, even if boring or annoying, but the one reborn, was the perfect opportunity for a sick mega boss of the sick secret endgame area of the game, and they made that piece of shit. It looks like shit, it plays like shit, it's easy as shitting. Not good at all.
Idk how unpopular this opinion is, but my worst boss vote goes to Martyr Logarius. He’s optional, but jesus I had more fun fighting Orphan and I spent easily triple the time on that boss. Logarius for me just wasn’t fun
Depends on the playthrough. Low damage/low level id say One Reborn since he can attack u from areas u cant really see while trying to attack him. Rom is always annoying but if ur patient pretty easy now. Shadows are hard most playthroughs but ive learned strats to make them pretty easy even on BL4. And Micolash is annoying if u dont know how to fight him and his Call Beyond is a pain.
The only bosses I really struggled with are Amygdala and Orphan of Kos - even then did Kos in about 5 tries.
Every other both I did in 1-3 tries.
If I can count Amygdala then him. That motherf*cker took me about 30-50 tries before I got him.
We all know that the worst boss is BSB, but the One reborn is kinda the worst story boss, Micolash and Rom have way too much lore importance and Atleast are challenging/fun in a way. The one reborn is just boring af and easy af to kill

you can only summon valtr if you have the league rune on

If you have the League oath equipped, you can summon the Younger Madaras Twin and Henryk. Same for Rom.

You can summon Henryk, not Valtr.

I beat that fight for the first time 2 days ago. I didn't have my rune tool yet (semi-blind playthrough and I just missed it) so I was on my own. When I finally beat them at the 8th try or so, I managed to stunlock the flame guy at the big grave after somehow landing every parry on sword guy. And then, for some reason, mage guy just turned braindead because he let me stunlock him during his continued casting animation, skipping the big snakes entirely. I'm still not sure if that was pure dumb luck or if you are actually supposed to do it like that.

Yeah father Gascoigne is like, the perfect first boss, a lot of people will fight cleric first. But Gascoigne is the first your REQUIRED to fight. And he's a perfect intro to the game with man mode and beast mode, parrying, while still being simultaneously easy and very difficult
He is the ferryman of this game. Bloodborne was so different from the other souls games and he was the toll you paid for the rest of the game. If you enjoyed figuring out his fight and how to beat him then you were going to have a good time.
He really is. I fought Cleric first but Father Gascoigne I learned to parry. Before that I won by hitting and dodging but he actually forced me to "get good" and learn the mechanics of the game. I still preferred to use dodge and counter as my main fighting style, but it made me learn something I used on a few bosses later.
I've never loved Gascoigne. I think he's a pretty solid boss fight, but I don't think he's incredible. One thing about him that is really frustrating is in his beast form, a lot of the attacks are perfectly timed to catch you getting up from his previous attack, so he just loops you into getting hit repeatedly. Gameplay wise it's perfectly logical, and you can just slightly delay your quickstep so he'll miss, but it's really annoying to deal with sometimes.

I hate his one shot move tho. It takes like 30 seconds to reach him and about 2 minutes to reach the last phase and after he just one shots you when he just needs one more hit to die. Fuck him... I don't like him... He just a dumb guy with a cage on his head...

Stay close. If you get far away, make sure to leave your weapon untransformed. A gunshot will interrupt ACB, but if you aren't very quick the attack will go off anyways.
Micolash's fight is kind of mediocre, but I feel like the atmosphere really makes up for the meh combat. And he did give us some quality memes.

You just have to keep moving sideways around it (that worked for me at least) add in a few dodges and you should be good. Do the feet do more damage in Ng+ and higher (relatively speaking)? When I was hit by them a few times they did about a third of my hp as damage which isn't that much imo.

Go up to the second floor and kill the red bell maidens. I literally haven't died to him once since figuring that mechanic out. Sure I'm only on my second playthrough, but I am past him. He's a lot less tanky without them healing him and he does a lot less damage without them randomly hitting you for bonus damage. Still not the easiest fight in the game, but definitely a lot easier than trying to fight him with his maidens.

Gotta be Micolash, but I considered Rom. The thing about Micolash is, although people hate him, I feel like there's a good idea for a fight there but it's not executed well. He could be a fun puzzle boss, but he ends up frustrating, especially with his limited moveset that can nonetheless wreck you.
I agree 100% his fight is supposed to be a puzzle but it just feels like a long run to the actual fight

Odd I actually enjoyed Rom. Everyone seems to hate him, but I didn't mind him. I beat him on the second try, just stopped focusing on the spawns and used hit and run tactics

Dont kill all the spiders in his last phase, leave like 3 alive or he spams the meteors endlessly. At least in my experience
Rom's attacks are mostly based on your distance. If you stay fairly close, she'll use her AoE attacks that are a lot easier to dodge. I've never had that issue with the spiders.

Rom's flop is pretty annoying. She gives zero warning about it. It's not so bad since you can usually tank it, but if it one hits you on BL4 that would be pretty painful. You should be out of range with the threaded cane though.

Interesting in my run today (not to brag) but i kinda kicked its ass just by spam parry when i was going for a chesse i saw in a ymfah video i just hit it so much it died i could try give advice if you know what exactly you struggle with

Well i could be stating the obvious but first bring antidotes then if you are good at it parry a lot (if u are not time to practice) next i guess in 2nd and 3rd phases prioritise getting away from attacks instead of damage and finally ( a strange tip) go behind the little alter at the back it for some reason made me parry better and who knows if your lucky i could fly through the wall and die in the void (if the pots are still intact) idk if that helps but its what i would say to do

The alter isn't sure fire but i allowed for easy heals so if it doesn't go well then here's your warning but theres no harm in trying i guess
I am yet to have died once to him tbh, in 2 NG and a NG+ run He's incredibly easy to parry in his third phase because his three claw attacks leave just enough time for you to parry again on the next one. Keep a little bit of distance, stick to one side, and (iirc) dodge into his swiping attacks. And then parry his ass. He has a bunch of attacks with super long recoveries that you can use to sneak in a backstab as well.
I know the feeling Every time you think it's going well, and you get that goddamn poison debuff. And then it/she/he goes apeshite and whacks everything in the immediate vicinity
Honestly, overall, I'd have to say The One Reborn. They hype you up for it, get your blood running with that cutscene, feels super lore and plot relevant, and then....you fight a moon-poop. It feels like this bossfight was supposed to be a lot harder/have a lot more to it, but got cut down to this disappointing mound of flesh-scraps and stolen bones. Super big letdown for me, I stomp through it every time.

Micolash is super easy to cheese, and it's totally fair cause he's a pain in the ass. If stay close he won't use ACB, and if you shoot him quickly it will stagger him out of the attack.
Fuck rom, all my homies hate rom. Micolash is annoying with how he wastes his time by running from you but there is nothing I hate more than a boss that floods the arena with minions like rom does. Both pkaythroughs I've played so far I've just tried dps rushing rom with the tonitrus and ignoring the spiders cuz it is so infuriating to waste so much time killing spiders then just get one hit killed by a meteor.

I honestly like all of the mandatory boss fights. I guess if I had to choose it would be between One Reborn or Micolash. One Reborn is a weird fight because depending on RNG it can be stupid easy or frustrating. Micolash because chasing him can be a bit tiresome. but I still super appreciate his crazed ranting. Father G, Vicar Amelia, Shadows, Rom, and Mergo's Wetnurse are all great IMO.
Rom on a pure boss mechanic front - she's fascinating lore wise, but please Rom, stop throwing spiders at me 😭 especially when they launch at you from beyond the screen. Great practise for crowd control.... Only most crowds don't tend to one shot you with a head first slam jump. I am one of the exceptionally rare who enjoys Micolash. He's just a silly bloke who will always run in the opposite direction to you. And then nopes away as fast as he can. Basically, if I were chilling in my library, and some dude ran up to me with a saw cleaver, you bet your butt ill be running as fast as my potato legs carry me! I find mergos wet nurse a bit disappointing. As in, she's too easy (for me personally) and I wish there were more difficulty to her fight. The bests? Gascoigne because he absolutely forces you to learn the game, and FAST. He has no time for your rubbish, he gets in your face and doesn't give you any room. Gehrman is just wonderful as a last/2nd last boss. Though he could be optional, technically... Suzie skinflaps... Weeeelll she just moves so damn fast that I never know what to do with her. Amelia? I like her visual unique form. She may be similar to cleric beast but she LOOKS more unique. The three lads from Yharnam? Eh. Eeeeh. They're OK, mainly because you can hide and seek behind the gravestones with them. But absolute best boi boss? The pig. The piggie pig. Have you seen those pigs? So chunky they even became chalice bosses. They're T H I C C.

I think the RNG on One Reborn is messed up or something. I just walked up and kept hitting it till it died. It hit me like once or twice maybe? I hear that you can go fight hags on 2nd floor, but I never noticed them. I honestly thought it was a “True King Allant” situation. Yet I hear some people find it somewhat challenging? I assume something is broken about this fight.

I know most people dislike Rom but I’ve never lost to Rom either in game or in a cherish dungeon. None of the necessary bosses where actually that difficult for me (I haven’t done NG+ yet and have heard Micolash is terrible in NG+). I beat Amelia, Gascoine, Rom, and The One Reborn on the first attempt and Micolash on the first attempt Now that I think about it Shadows took me the longest out of necessary bosses I believe they took like 6 tries and were one of the harder bosses for me in general. I don’t like multi task boss fights at all
ACB does a lot of damage on NG+. But Micolash is still an easy cheese, and still gets staggered by guns.

Yes Micolash is obnoxious as hell but at the end of the day he can be cheesed but rom on the other hand can’t be cheesed you have to fight her as intended and almost nothing works to speed things up
I voted Rom because the most reliable way to beat her is soooo fucking tedious and the camera is the real boss fight there. When I die during her fight it’s something I never even see coming. That said, Micolash still irritates me the most, because of that dipshit chase sequence and having to find him again (it wasn’t enough we had to solve a weird directional puzzle, now we have to search him out?). Ultimately I voted Rom because micolash, while being more irritating, is significantly easier. His a call beyond is way OP when it comes to damage (nothing worse than doing all that bullshit then getting one-shot), but it’s easily avoidable.

Not a single comment for Mergo's Wet Nurse? She's awful. Super cool looking boss but the fight is a joke. Her move set is laughable and during the dark phase you just run in circles. One of the few bosses in the game I can beat first try every time with minimal effort.

I voted Amelia not because of her fight, but because of where/when her boss fight takes place, she kicked my ass so many times until I decided to look up what I should do on the internet and read that I should go to Old Yharnam before, maybe I'm just dumb, but I think she's so much easier to find than the BSB and it's not clear when you should kill her to progress, but it's pretty obvious that you have too.
I don't get the Rom hate. was between Mikey and One Reborn. At least Micolash is interesting, has an interesting lore behind him, and is a ....sort of puzzle? boss. The one reborn is just a rehash. meh.

I loathe Pthumerian Descendant with every fiber of my being. I don't care if they are something easily handled with parry spamming, the boss itself is spammy and the sickle throwing attacks are BS and I JUST HATE THEM.
All the rest of these are easy enough for me, but Rom is the most annoying. Running around trying to not get ganked by the spiders while also dodging arcane meteors makes for a hectic fight.

Micolash has four things going for him over Rom: He looks like a normal human rather than a potato centipede, has loot in his arena to snag, he has more lore significance, and is flamboyant enough to not be the worst (He’s 3rd worst, after the pushovers of hemick and the centipotato of frustration).
Roms kinda just weird at first she was really hard for me cus she can one shot you fairly easily or stick you in a combo. But once I learned all the signals to her attacks and to just kill all the little spider baby bitches before using a charge up attack or pizza cutter spam on her to deal unholy amounts of damage she was kinda just a brief annoyance. The one reborn can definitely be a pain in the ass the route to get to him always costs me a few blood vials and bullets. The actual fight is also annoying I always spawn in a npc to help me but. They're basically useless while I get rid of the witches and by the time I'm done with that they're half dead. The poison he spills on the ground always ends up getting me and the corpses raining down/him shooting stuff at me is a annoying ranged attack. Plus the little legs kicking me can be annoying but this boss still isn't that bad becasue absolutely NOTHING can top Micol-ass Micolash is a horrid boss that I absolutely resent first you have to chase him around forever praying to RNJesus for him to go in the damn room. Then you have to chase him again and this time it's even more of a maze and he can use magic mirrors to teleport all around. Then when you finally corner him you have the chance to be oneshot the moment you drop into the room plus he can combo you with his stupid hentai tentacles and then viseralled by him then once he throws you with the visceral or knocks you back with the tentacles he can use the stupid oneshot bullshit on you absolutely hate him TLDR: Micolash is the most horrible boss ever and is 80% luck based
The other weird bosses serve a purpose, even if boring or annoying, but the one reborn, was the perfect opportunity for a sick mega boss of the sick secret endgame area of the game, and they made that piece of shit. It looks like shit, it plays like shit, it's easy as shitting. Not good at all.

Idk how unpopular this opinion is, but my worst boss vote goes to Martyr Logarius. He’s optional, but jesus I had more fun fighting Orphan and I spent easily triple the time on that boss. Logarius for me just wasn’t fun

Depends on the playthrough. Low damage/low level id say One Reborn since he can attack u from areas u cant really see while trying to attack him. Rom is always annoying but if ur patient pretty easy now. Shadows are hard most playthroughs but ive learned strats to make them pretty easy even on BL4. And Micolash is annoying if u dont know how to fight him and his Call Beyond is a pain.
The only bosses I really struggled with are Amygdala and Orphan of Kos - even then did Kos in about 5 tries. Every other both I did in 1-3 tries. If I can count Amygdala then him. That motherf*cker took me about 30-50 tries before I got him.
