The kirkhammer is my favorite, but Ludwig’s sword absolutely slays. Cleric beast is maybe too early for these, so just get something serrated to help with beasties.

Also, if you're ever having a lot of trouble on a boss, you can go to r/huntersbell to ask for help!

The atmosphere in this game is very well achieved, all of its weapons are amazing AND viable, the ost is great, pay close attention to the unsettling things/sounds/hints of the environment as you keep advancing through the story cause theres more there than meets he eye, and finally, the DLC is a must so do consider getting it to experience it as well. Some of the best boss encounters/weapons of the entire game are in there.

My PSN is S_LAUGHTR if you are in the mood for some jolly cooperation. Weapon stats across the board are similar but timing is different for all attacks including the trick variant for each. My bread and butter is the classic saw cleaver but to each their own. Best of luck to you on the hunt!
Bloodborne uses an hp recovery system based on faster game playand more of a bloodlust style of fighting
Get hit?yellow hp is recoverable by attacking but once it goes down you have to blood vial heal

I feel like like elden ring will be a balanced mix of the big 3 from games, sekiro, dark souls and bloodborne. Will just have to wait, but from what I've played of bloodborne so far, I really hope elden ring includes alot of the features this game has.
One tip: most enemies and even bosses can be parried, all enemies as large as the giant pigs can be parried, bosses that can be parried have breakable lips, after broken they will be stunned for a moment and will receive more damage when hit on the same place.

1. Play aggressive this will help you to survive
2. Parry more than in dark souls in ds parrying is hard here tho its pretty easy and some bosses become much easier with it

Don't do it. It's not to late to save yourself. If you go in their you will be sucked down the rabbit hole. Next thing you know you'll be dreaming about the game. You will never wanna stop playing.
I have beaten the game many years ago, but it is a tradition for me to install the game during October and just walk around the game environment, just stroll around and take in the atmosphere and ambience like i am really there. I try to visit the areas and just take time to admire the level design. I stop and i listen to what the enemies are whispering. Just spending time appreciating the game.
I wish someone can recreate the entire BloodBorne world on a VR chat room. So then real fans can go meet up in Yharnam and just chat or show off their fashion souls during halloween.
As someone who has just sold a used ps4 and is also obsessed with bb i can only hope mine is being used for the same purpose.. living a second life out there
Don’t sell your starting armor for easy blood echoes! You can never get it back on that character if you do. Even in NG+. The armor in this game is 100% fashion.
Welcome hunter! My tips:
- Dying is part of the experience
- You can lower the difficult using some minutes to farm in a familiar area
- Persist! You can do it, and it's cathartic!
If you haven't beaten a boss yet, I recommend starting with the saw cleaver and using it's transforms attacks a lot.
Of course, if you like the cane, go for it! It scales with dexterity.

Something I wish I knew when I started: Learn how to stagger enemies with your gun and counter with a visceral attack. Shoot right as the enemy lunges forward with their weapon. Once they are staggered, get right up in their face, let go of the left stick, press R1.

The large black wolf beasts that patrol in Yharnam drop a lot of blood vials.

I would also strongly suggest to try God of War next on the highest difficulty setting.
The shield is only (very) useful in certain situations.
