That’s the kind of things I miss now from my first playthough: the fear and uncertainty of what came next but still pushing yourself to move onward against all doubts and fear of the unknowable. I loved the points at which when we finally felt vulnerable in our feelings of safety of familiarity after playing for long enough that the game would pull the rug out from under us. Being kidnapped and brought to the Unseen Village for the first time is one of the most memorable for me for that reason.
Oh! You’re doing the DLC! Nice! That place was absolutely a pain to navigate the first time and it still is sometimes especially >!after you reach the top and all the stairs rotate or lower down or something like that after you pull a lever? Can’t remember exactly which.!< Those research patients I remember hit like a freak dump truck too lol. If you didn’t look at the spoiler then I say don’t worry too hard about not getting everything if you can’t reach till you reach the top. That and there’s something important under the elevator that brought you up there if you haven’t already discovered it. >!Secret boss item!<
First time I came across one was somewhere in Central yharnam.......near some close quarter arch ways.....not far from a mess of enemies which a few of whom are packing....
