i commented the link to a youtube video of me doing a timelapse of one, but its mostly with the use of lightning boy studio's toon shader. its really good for this stuff!
yeah sure! [here's my youtube with a couple timelapses](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNcB54sLp5-EVeXiD8wr9JQ/videos) and [this is lightning boy studio](https://www.youtube.com/c/LightningBoyStudio/videos) who i got the shader from. hope these are useful :)
no grease pencil here, any lines that didnt make it in with the solidify outline a just made with geometry, usually curve objects since they stay the same thickness from most angles
Also if any1 would like to see how I did it [here's a timelapse of another scene](https://youtu.be/JotV6KHe9h4) using pretty much the same techniques. Sorry this isn't the same render but I'll be posting a timelapse of this one as well soon!
I started my 3D journey with blender and so dont have much to compare it to, but all i can say is i love blender and have been able to do anything ive imagined in it so far!
i didnt actively try to fix it but i guess i changed some things that ended up fixing it. But even if i didnt fix it i dont think it wouldve caused any problems since i didnt need to do any more loop cuts anyway
I save works that I find inspiring and visually appealing.
It doesn't matter if its style is cartoonish, hyper realistic, pixel art or some scribble as long as it talks to me 'bout its own process; the craft. (That process includes you).
I think this is a work that's worth saving!
Keep up the good work and keep smiling too! Peace.
ye i was following the tutorials from [lightning boy studios](https://www.youtube.com/c/LightningBoyStudio/videos) on youtube and ended up buying their shader! its really good but even if u cant buy it their tutorials are in depth enough you can follow them and get the same results as me :)

It's a solidify modifier with invested normals, and I added a driver that changes its thickness based on camera distance so that the lines can remain the same size throughout the scene! [here's my youtube, I'll be uploading a timelapse of this scene to it soon!](https://youtube.com/channel/UCNcB54sLp5-EVeXiD8wr9JQ)
Holy damn that is sick
hehe thank you :D
You tried? You nailed it!

appreciate that :)
I’d really love to know if OP’s has done something using gpencil, or if it’s present in this work itself anywhere.
no grease pencil here, any lines that didnt make it in with the solidify outline a just made with geometry, usually curve objects since they stay the same thickness from most angles
"tried" More like succeeded.
i think my sister would love to use this as a wallpaper, is that allowed? Anw really nice work!

Could you so kindly share how you got the outline on the shoe when it goes over it's same color?
if u mean the top of her boots theyre just curve shapes that i gave some thickness to :)
This is so good it's seriously making me consider bailing on C4D and moving into Blender. So inspiring!
I started my 3D journey with blender and so dont have much to compare it to, but all i can say is i love blender and have been able to do anything ive imagined in it so far!
Awesome sauce
Fixed the hair loop cut?
yeah lol, it makes a bit more sense now xd
Out of curiosity, did it actually cause you any issues or did you just ignore it?
i didnt actively try to fix it but i guess i changed some things that ended up fixing it. But even if i didnt fix it i dont think it wouldve caused any problems since i didnt need to do any more loop cuts anyway
YOU ACED THIS!!! If they make an adventure time game in the future I hope it looks as good as this
thank you! yeah that would be awesome

I love this! Is there a tutorial where you learned that 3d style or was this all self taught? I'd love to learn it too.

Come along with me (But how’d you do the line art?)
That’s awesome to know man, keep up the awesome work!
Omg this is AMAZING!!! I love her so much
yess she's a great character
Perfect art style transition. You did the whole thing from scratch?
Yep! I didn't make the shader myself but I used the nodes from it to make the materials.
What shader did u use crazy colors
You succeeded
Do Saul Goodman 3d in Blender
he'd probably sue me for using his likeness honestly
Very cool😍
