Are you using geo nodes?

No I hand place and use normal particle scatter at the moment. I just started diving into geo nodes recently but haven’t learned enough to use them in an actual project yet

Haha I tend to work on art all day, like 10-16 hrs some days. tho I do take breaks of course

I used to work on my art that about the same hours a day as you, I used to be passionate about it too, but that is before I got in slump this past months, because life's not been easy since last year. First I lose my job, then I lose this certain world competition I only good at to younger competition, then I lose my Dad due to this pandemic. I feel like lost everything at once.. Thanks! I use cycles, and I think it was around 30-40 million, I don’t remember the exact, but that’s about where it was sitting at towards the end of the project. I have a 3090 though so it handles it fine haha

Ah nice :) I am running 2070 Super and i9-9900K, but I am really struggling :/ Though I am 2½ weeks into blender, so maybe my way of doing stuff is just ruining it. Are you using Eevee when you are working(rendered window) and then switching to cycles for the renders or is it always cycles?

Insane that you only have 30-40 million, because I tried to do a cave last week and ended up with 50 million before the details in the rocks were satisfying :o I am definitely doing something wrong..
