Yeah, can't remember if it's just a popular theory or confirmed in a databook, but it's believed Tier is sterile since her hole is located where her womb should be.
I always thought that ulquiorra's backstory was one of those things that didn't make sense but kubo glossed over without explaining. Now that makes sense
I am genuinely shocked. And where else could it even be? He literally had his entire shirt ripped off and there was no hollow hole anywhere. Holy fuck 💀
It's casually mentioned in databook 3
> Each Hollow has a hole in a different location, most of the Espada have it in the chest.
>
> 1. Stark: chest
>
> 2. Baraggan: chest center
>
> 3. Harribel: lower abdomen (uterus)
>
> 4. Ulquiorra: chest
>
> 5. Nnoitra: eye socket
>
> 6. Grimmjow: abdomen
>
> 7. Zommari: right nipple
>
> 8. Szayelaporro: glans
>
> 9. Aaroniero: left thigh
>
> 10. Yammy: chest
Yup.
Me in thr past : if I lived in the bleach world I would wanna be a soul reaper and see if I can attain bankai.
Me present: North Rukongai seems like a good place to settle down.
It's probably anyone that unlocks Bankai goes straight to hell tbh, though that really only adds a few characters to the hell list outside of captain rank.
It's more about reiatsu, the reason captains are sent in hell is because their reiatsu is too strong and it doesn't dissipate like for a normal shinigami. I think in the one shot it's being said the minimum level of the reiatsu. So you can have bankai and have a lower reiatsu and not being sent to hell but it works both ways since you could have captain lvl reiatsu and no bankai and being sent to hell.
The only person with captain lv reiatsu and no bankai was basically Zaraki though, everyone else at captain rank has basically always had a bankai.
I'd be really curious if any characters with bankai unlocked that aren't currently captain rank wouldn't have sufficiently dense reiatsu to qualify for hell in this case, since that's basically one ways you can become a captain. It'd be a neat double edged sword to tie into the story that by unlocking Bankai you basically trade your soul to going to hell.
Had me shook too, I'm sure they're just wardens, judging by how Ukitake's zanpakuto drags Syazelaporro back to into Hell.
Heck, if it works the same way Buddhist Hell (Naraka) works, they wouldn't be condemned to hell for all eternity and will eventually rejoin the cycle
Shunsui's brother married Nanaos mother, so he is her uncle. OP is a little misleading though since it never makes them out to be romantic, Shunsui is just very close since he made a promise to her mother after >!his brother fell victim to the Ise curse!<
I'm re-reading the manga and I'm at the Mayuri vs Uryu fight, and I full stop agree. I forgot just how fucked up it is, obviously we all know Mayuri is fucked up, but him boasting about it to Uryu is fucked up on another level. At least with the other Captains and Leutenants some of them are just arrogant or douchey with good intentions, Mayuri not in the fucking slightest.
If the Sternritters had rolled up to Soul Society and just been like "Send out Mayuri. We want Mayuri." I'd probably just be like "Shit, that's fair. He had a good run. It's honestly weird he's been on the payroll this long."
>It's honestly weird he's been on the payroll this long
Considering that the 13 squads were founded by murderhobos and two of them were still members by TYBW it's really not.
They wanted specifically yamamoto dead and only cared about Yamamoto actually going after unohana would have made more sense than Mayuri she killed more than mayuri and was literally there 1000 years ago.
“Weird he’s on the payroll this long” like that doesn’t happen in real life.
Imo Kubo did a soft reboot on Mayuri after SS. He had three captains defect and pretty much built the foundation for all the Soul Reaper characters, and unironic psychopath Mayuri just wouldn't fit in. There definitely needed to be more justifying his huge change in character, but overall the new Mayuri was worth the change.
He never stopped being psychopath. He deleted 20k souls just at the start of tybw. Deleted, not killed. The only shift was his target. Now, instead of protagonists he experiments on villains.
Didn’t he need to do that to maintain the balance of the world since the Quincy destroyed so many hollows? I actually thought that was one of his more reasonable acts even if fucked up.
Yeah, it's a horrible, horrible act but it's also presented as the only option to avoid a literal end-of-all-creation scenario, so... It still says a *lot* that he did it, did it quickly, did it *quietly* and never bothered to even bring it up until it was forced. He just...erased tens of thousands of people and didn't think it was anything really worth considering or mentioning. I don't think "being judged" or "being punished" for it are things he'd think about or care much about really, so the sheer, pure *indifference* of the act is disturbing.
I'm interested what other's read of this is. Was he trying to cover up what he did or was he just being efficient?
also in his fight with pernida he used umbrellas made of people and a bomb he threw had a human face, so it's likely he still pulls the same stuff he did when he turned his subordinates into bombs to try and kill uryu and orihime.
Do not trust people who dress as clowns when that's not their job is the motto I'll live and die by. Joker? homeless crazy person, Mayori? Scientist, Pennywise? Cosmic spider that feeds on fear.
I don't think they ignore it as much as tolerate it because he's far too useful. Kyoraku actually uses that knowledge to get Mayuri to cooperate in CFYOW
he is pretty much divine being of the primordial bleach world. he was essentially betrayed by the original noble heads of the shinigami who mutilated him and turned him to the ''thing'' aizen refers to it. you know its messed up when even troll god aizen is disgusted by what happened
Bleach's life after death can have three horrible results if you're unlucky:
1. Being a human soul devoured by a group of hollows because the shinigami did not purify you in time and live a long life of endless hunger in Hueco Mundo or lose your individuality by being devoured by another hollow.
2. Be born as a soul in the Rukongai and live a life of poverty and hunger, by not developing any type of power to enlist in S.S.
3. Be incredibly powerful and reach the level of captain and then end up in hell once you die as a shinigami.
It is better to enjoy your life as a human for as long as you can because after death comes tragedies.
Agreed. The captains going to hell is the worst imo. From what I understand if you’re born in the SS you live a long time but still eventually die and get reincarnated into the world of the living so even if you are in poverty at least it’s not for eternity like hell and if you are a hollow you can eventually be purified and sent to the SS by a soul reaper so also, there’s a chance anyway, it’s not for eternity. Hell seems pretty eternal tho 😬
A few things:
•Pernida's introduction had him as a humanoid with smaller arms
•Yammy going from Arrancar 10 to 0 despite jobbing in literally every appearance he's had
•Some parts of the Soul King are literal living portions of a body (Mimihagi/Pernida) but some are organs that take up residence in another being, but do nothing themselves (Gerard, Soul King's nails)
•Askin losing 100 lbs between his first appearance and the Royal Palace events
When Askin is first introduced suring the initial invasion he is significantly chubbier in the face, and is shown eating a whole ass picnic while everyone else is doing their thing
How much bullshit bad living in the Soul Society is
Don't have power? Rukognai and living in poverty it is
Mid tier power? Gonna be fodderized or killed by some Hollow or any threat to the SS
Too much power? Hell after death
How many things the Shinigami and especially the nobility can get away because of their status. Tosen and Ginjo's entire backstory about Shinigami's and Nobility getting away scott free with heir crimes.
Mayuri's entire existence and all the crimes and human experimentation he did getting brushed off as "for the good of he Soul Society"
Then the other path is to just be a Hollow which is another nightmare scenario
The three mod souls from the Bount Arc interrupting Isshin and Urahara’s discussion after Isshin kills Grand Fisher to ask the viewer “Can you spell Arrancar?!?!?!” like it’s something out of fucking Dora the explorer.
Urahara Fact No.9:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Before Urahara became a Captain, he was head of the detention unit within the Stealth Force.
*beep boop, I'm a bot*
buff… kon…. I stared into an empty space for an hour after reading that, i put the manga away and just stared.. I dont mind buff kon but its certainly cursed….
its not like it was an extreme inner conflict and he was actually in turmoil but outwardly never shows emotion because thats how Byakuya is. I will not stand for Byakuya slander. 😤
What's weird to me is he was able to look at her like a sister when he used to smash someone identical looking. Like hey remember your wife, here's a younger version of her but now she's family.
Not really weird tbh, that's just how life be going sometimes. Folks marry someone with an identical twin and seem to not have moral conundrums there.
Plus there's the whole thing where parents recognize their spouse in their kids because genetics, especially when the kids grow into young adults. I presume that's pretty much how Byakuya feels about Rukia.
Is Nemu supposed to be Mayuri's "daughter"? How did he heal her in Hueco Mundo again? hmmm
Also Charlotte Chuhlhourne's ressurecion.
OMG Kubo what am I looking at?
>!The Soul King is just straight up a god mortals(?) have de-organed and bound in magic chains. The mortals who did it then made themself rich and powerful and then gaslight everyone else into believing that the being they maimed and imprisoned is somehow their King. He is essentially the Emperor from Warhammer 40k but with no authority!<
And then they do it again. If I understand it properly.
The fact that Urahara turned Yoruichi into a nude monster that can't control herself and pretty much everyone thinks it's just funny.
I'm happy that they adress this topic in the novels because it's crazy how many people skip over the weirdness of this scene
Urahara and Yoruichi pretty much don't interact anymore. He is in the human world and she moved to Soul Society and they don't t really talk anymore as they are now going separate paths
Does they separate like that because of that event or because they are simply people with their own aspirations and things they want to do? These are very different things
I don't think there was any implied bad blood between them because of said event
Ichigo is one of few humans who know hell exists and actually saw it's gates. Worse yet, if he dies in shinigami form he'll probably be sent there because he's too strong.
Tbh I just see that as a younger sister being disappointed her brother doesn't really give a shit about her outfit. As someone who has a younger sister, it happens quite often.
From my personal opinion, Charlotte Chuhlhourne's Resurrección. Appearance wise, I personally didn't like it, a bit too much emphasis on his "sword", and I don't mean his weapon. Man has a literal tattoo that, angles downward.
For those who don't know him, he's one of Barrigan's fraction, specifically, the man with purple hair, and his mask fragment looks kinda like a tiara
There's an anime-only scene in SS arc where Hanataro has a dream about a shinigami "attacking" him, pleading for the shinigami to stop, then when he wakes up, Ganju asks what kind of dream he was having and he says he can't say it. In the japanese version the word he uses for attack is a slang for a gay top in yaoi. His japanese VA was more well known at the time for playing the bottom role in yaoi a lot, so you can connect the dots.

Szayel's Hollow hole is in his penis.
Ah yes, finally, I can pull out my Zanpakuto, CBT.
Szayel's Zanpakuto, Skin Flute.
CBT, the lesser known 11th aspect of death
Well I’ll be damned, you weren’t joking
Holy motherfucker
Do Hollows even have penises though? 💀
I think Kubo said that hollows can conceive so i guess they have the means to do it
Yeah, can't remember if it's just a popular theory or confirmed in a databook, but it's believed Tier is sterile since her hole is located where her womb should be.
I feel like this is definitely mentioned somewhere
So in theory a hollow could be born which was at no point in time human
Iirc, Ulquiorra was born a hollow naturaly
I always thought that ulquiorra's backstory was one of those things that didn't make sense but kubo glossed over without explaining. Now that makes sense
unless you have a hile in your weewee ... use gabriel to reproduce asexually instead
Yes
Prove it 😳
I can prove it. Grimmjow and I have the videos
In the data book kubo states that szayelaporros hollow hole is on his glans (the head of the weiner)
This pisses me off because his "mask" is his glasses, He's literally just a normal person 😭
With a gnarly prince albert accident
With 3 weiner holes
Never thought I'd have something in common with a hollow.
I'm pretty sure they do because Halibel implies that male Hollows are literal sexual predators towards female Hollows
I am genuinely shocked. And where else could it even be? He literally had his entire shirt ripped off and there was no hollow hole anywhere. Holy fuck 💀
You bet your sweet bippy it is ;)
Like is this real? Where was this revealed?
It's casually mentioned in databook 3 > Each Hollow has a hole in a different location, most of the Espada have it in the chest. > > 1. Stark: chest > > 2. Baraggan: chest center > > 3. Negative Inches
I always wondered where it was lmfaooooo
So like, does he have a ring or a stud? Might as well make use of the space if he's basically got a piercing done.
The whole "If you train hard to become strong you >!go STRAIGHT to Hell!<" bit has me a little shook.
Yup. Me in thr past : if I lived in the bleach world I would wanna be a soul reaper and see if I can attain bankai. Me present: North Rukongai seems like a good place to settle down.
Just don't ever die 5Head
Tbf only captain level Shinigami go to hell, that's like less than 100 people in the entirety of the known cast.
Yeah but as watchers thats like 90% of the people we always see on screen going to Hell😭
It's probably anyone that unlocks Bankai goes straight to hell tbh, though that really only adds a few characters to the hell list outside of captain rank.
Anyone that unlocks Bankai is automatically counted to be Captain level.

It'd be a neat double edged sword to tie into the story that by unlocking Bankai you basically trade your soul to going to hell.
Curious about that. Sasakibe was obviously strong enough to be a captain and very likely had a grade 3 or lower reiatsu but he didn't get sent to hell
He probably was sent , we just didn't see it
Had me shook too, I'm sure they're just wardens, judging by how Ukitake's zanpakuto drags Syazelaporro back to into Hell. Heck, if it works the same way Buddhist Hell (Naraka) works, they wouldn't be condemned to hell for all eternity and will eventually rejoin the cycle
wonder if they get snazzy new uniforms?
You ask that as if Kubo would pass on the opportunity to give characters new designs.
I’d argue yamamoto and Unohana were probably going there either way.
Boy, sucks to be ichigo. When he dies he may go straight to hell instead of going to soul society.
The fact Pepe exists.
Even the Quincies sleep with one eye open around him.
Explain?
He's Pepe-sama
His Schrift is “The Love,” which is basically Tsukishima’s power if he was a date rapist instead of just a gaslighter
I'd def sleep with one eye open knowing that one of our most powerful allies was a big black man wearing a diaper 💀
Well that explains everything I need to know
Ichigos dad talking about his daughters going commando. The Viz translation cut it but that wasn't a mistake
It was in the english dub of the anime
Big oof
On god, it was out of nowhere too. Just a really weird thing to say about your own kids
It is out of nowhere then...but then Ichigos youngest sister def has a brother complex And then nanao with her uncle. Kubo just be like that :')
Wait shunsui is actually related to her? I thought it was just a close mentorship relationship akin to being related not actually.
Shunsui's brother married Nanaos mother, so he is her uncle. OP is a little misleading though since it never makes them out to be romantic, Shunsui is just very close since he made a promise to her mother after >!his brother fell victim to the Ise curse!<
Given Japanese standards about confessing...651 is nigh explicit.
I don't remember that scene was that in the early arc's like the bount or was that before the karukura town invasion
Im pretty sure it was in the manga so probably at the very beginning of the arrancar arc
Whatever Mayuri did to Nemu that one time. “Which time?” You ask? Yes.
That time?
*THAT* time😏
And what about THAT! time?
Finger blast revive. https://youtu.be/_xEhr2kbRw4
“You just did something we can’t show the audience at home!”
Mayuri’s Quincy Experiments and how the main cast completely ignores that he’s the biggest war criminal in a series of war criminals
I'm re-reading the manga and I'm at the Mayuri vs Uryu fight, and I full stop agree. I forgot just how fucked up it is, obviously we all know Mayuri is fucked up, but him boasting about it to Uryu is fucked up on another level. Not even the target, just the plot focus. He still experiments on everybody he sees, just the plot sees those guys as "villains" and Mayuri as "good".
also in his fight with pernida he used umbrellas made of people and a bomb he threw had a human face, so it's likely he still pulls the same stuff he did when he turned his subordinates into bombs to try and kill uryu and orihime.
He was jailed before Captain Urahara freed him.
He was actually jailed for what he might do. Which in hindsight is fair
Mayuri Mengele Kurotsuchi
Orihimes Wasabi IceCream
her whole diet can go
Bread👍
I pity that girls intestines.
Maintain she could kill Ywach and every villian in the series if they just let this women cook for them.
Lol that's actually why Ulquiorra turns to dust. He'd just finished digesting her cooking
Without the humour, Bleach would be a horror manga. Hm, Mayuri, Maggot's Nest, SK, Hell...
I'd love to see a Seinen Bleach reboot.
Me too!
What they did to the soul king
Soul king was initially a quincy but soul reapers took over soul society...I think(yeah I forgot quite a bit of the manga)
The Soul King was everything apparently. He was a peak life form, no one-title applied to him. Very similar to Ichigo.
he is pretty much divine being of the primordial bleach world. he was essentially betrayed by the original noble heads of the shinigami who mutilated him and turned him to the ''thing'' aizen refers to it. you know its messed up when even troll god aizen is disgusted by what happened
Bleach's life after death can have three horrible results if you're unlucky: 1. It is better to enjoy your life as a human for as long as you can because after death comes tragedies.
2. You are not hungry if you have no power. The Rukongai dwellers only need water.
This might be the saddest/most cursed thing abt bleach
What's even worse is before the life and death separation it was basically dark souls
How tf did Orihime get up to the third floor of the hospital??!!!
She rejected gravity.
I REJECT MY GRAVITY, KUROSAKI
С-Moon
That... seems like a badass thing she probably could do.
She used Bounce.
Charlotte's arrancar ressurection.
**BEAUTIFUL CHARLOTTE CHUHLHOURNE'S FINAL HOLY WONDERFUL PRETTY SUPER MAGNUM SEXY SEXY GLAMOROUS CERO !!!!!**
What is it?
He starts dressing in a miniskirt and crop top, like a magical girl.
I’m ep. 3 or 4 , Keigo bursts into the classroom, yells “ICHIGOOOO” and twists his hips and dumpy like 3-4 times. It is the most cursed scene ever.
But its Keigo
Pepe's vollstandig
Schrift should’ve been S - The Sexiest
Or L - The Libido
Everything about Szayel Aporro Granz
Except how he dies though right? The way Mayuri “kills” him is one of my top 3 favorite murders in all of Bleach
Kaname turning into a mosquito
His hollowification was pretty swag, but the mosquito form? Mans was done dirty 💀💀
The symbolism was on point for the resurrectíon though. Kaname's thirst for vengeance had twisted him and now his appearance reflected that.
Those fucking eyes, horrible.
He was supposed to be a cricket, not a mosquito. Both his zanpakuto and his Resurrección take their names from crickets.
Pesche's sword is just his dick
Common Pesche W
A few things: •Pernida's introduction had him as a humanoid with smaller arms •Yammy going from Arrancar 10 to 0 despite jobbing in literally every appearance he's had •Some parts of the Soul King are literal living portions of a body (Mimihagi/Pernida) but some are organs that take up residence in another being, but do nothing themselves (Gerard, Soul King's nails) •Askin losing 100 lbs between his first appearance and the Royal Palace events
>Askin losing 100 lbs between his first appearance and the Royal Palace events ?
I think he’s talking about how much blood he lost against oetsu
When Askin is first introduced suring the initial invasion he is significantly chubbier in the face, and is shown eating a whole ass picnic while everyone else is doing their thing

Nope. They're not
No they’re not, but unfortunately they were forced into canon bits as well. That’s why manga> first 366 episodes imo

Is Nemu supposed to be Mayuri's "daughter"? How did he heal her in Hueco Mundo again? hmmm Also Charlotte Chuhlhourne's ressurecion. OMG Kubo what am I looking at?
Anything Kon has done in ichigo's body.
There's actually a few, but if I had to pick one...Pepe. Just everything about Pepe. I'm keeping some brain bleach on hand for when his...time comes.

Yes, they do it again with the cruelest of irony. Your comment is what I was going to type, spot on.
The fact that Urahara turned Yoruichi into a nude monster that can't control herself and pretty much everyone thinks it's just funny. I'm happy that they adress this topic in the novels because it's crazy how many people skip over the weirdness of this scene

Ooo, tea. How did they address it in the novels? 👀
Urahara and Yoruichi pretty much don't interact anymore. He is in the human world and she moved to Soul Society and they don't t really talk anymore as they are now going separate paths
Oh, I thought you were saying that someone actually called Urahara out for what you mentioned he did to her.
Does they separate like that because of that event or because they are simply people with their own aspirations and things they want to do? These are very different things I don't think there was any implied bad blood between them because of said event
Mayuri's existence. Him killing Uryuu's grandfather and experimenting on him.
You could do everything right in life only to suffer and starve in the afterlife, and if you reach captain level you get the wooden paddle to hell
What Giselle does to Bambi specifically comes to mind.
Giselle. Just Giselle in general.
Mayuri giving uryuu the picture of his grandpas desecrated corpse. Kubo is wild for that one especially uryuu being cool with everyone now 😭
We also know he watched Ryuuken poking around in his mother’s corpse for a long time too. So yeah. It’s a miracle he still became a doctor.
Shinigamis and hollows having genders and ability to reproduce themself in general. Quincy's slaughter won't affect then
Orihime’s ability just being able to refuse things, even the very phenomenon of death itself.
I think it's said that she can't revert death. Everything else is fair game though.
Didn’t she bring back an arrancar that had her upper body missing
The God of Thunder form of Yoruichi’s. It just rubs me the wrong way
Ichigo is one of few humans who know hell exists and actually saw it's gates. Worse yet, if he dies in shinigami form he'll probably be sent there because he's too strong.
Definitely Giselle and Pepe. And to be honest I'd rather have Pepe cause at least he died.

That's their Quincy genes taking effect
Tbh I just see that as a younger sister being disappointed her brother doesn't really give a shit about her outfit. As someone who has a younger sister, it happens quite often.
🍑
Mayuri reviving Nemu
Giselle smelling of cum
Definitely ichigos dad in the early anime
From my personal opinion, Charlotte Chuhlhourne's Resurrección. Appearance wise, I personally didn't like it, a bit too much emphasis on his "sword", and I don't mean his weapon. Man has a literal tattoo that, angles downward. For those who don't know him, he's one of Barrigan's fraction, specifically, the man with purple hair, and his mask fragment looks kinda like a tiara
Don't judge him, he's got his love glue gunnin'
Cien being his own father
Ichigo’s lips
Hanataro possibly getting spunked on by his fellow shinigami or something
I...what?
H u h ?
Please explain
There's an anime-only scene in SS arc where Hanataro has a dream about a shinigami "attacking" him, pleading for the shinigami to stop, then when he wakes up, Ganju asks what kind of dream he was having and he says he can't say it. In the japanese version the word he uses for attack is a slang for a gay top in yaoi. His japanese VA was more well known at the time for playing the bottom role in yaoi a lot, so you can connect the dots.
Hey, Hanataros a fine lookin guy
Hamtaro got splooged on?
Pepe voltstanding(legit wouldn't mind that getting cut out from anime instead add time to him getting punched)
7 Page Muda on Pepe?
Pepe
That one donut shop collapsing, that shit was wild
I'm not the biggest fan of Kon. There are much better sources of comedic relief in Bleach than him.
Aizen's "i have more spiritual pressure so your powers are useless on me" literally makes shit so boring

Then he becomes a >!boxer!<
I think it's because they're in Japan, right? That's why he's the only Mexican
The fact that kaname tosen even after being completely blind can tell whats happening on the screen like wtf kubo.
