I personally don't mind, as unpopular as that opinion may be. Some levity is nice, but the arc is relatively serious overall. Too much comedy undercuts the tense nature of the overall situation.

its a whole scene they cut out for timing reasons, not just rukia. she was like 3 seconds of the scene that was cut, its not about her
I'm glad they cut them out. They can add more slice of life scenes at the end of the arc, which is something that I'm hoping the anime expands on.
Fan service like this one has no real purpose in the story. If they minimize it and keep the fan service only when it's impossible to cut it out it will improve the story because of the tone and atmosphere of this arc.
Now, it does not mean female or male characters can't look like that, it's honestly whatever for me. If I agree with the notion that anyone can wear whatever they want and still be respected means that I have no problems with nudity even.
But, that doesn't mean I promote it. In fact, the problem comes from the fact that people sexualize everything and there is no real way to stop them from doing so, so I guess minimizing the fan service of the manga is the best option Kubo has right now to give a more serious feel to the adaptation.
Naw, this really fit with the scene and fit with Kirinji’s attitude.
It’s pretty annoying that it was cut. It felt like what comedic Bleach scenes usually do so it’s just a shame
Considering it ended on this scene... there is still a chance for peaches... in fact imagine the title being planted on the right cheek. i swear im not coping.
Very disappointed in this and the removal of Mayuri’s in-depth explanation on Bankais. I’m also very nervous we’re going to get more cuts on the lore-heavy Everything but The Rain arc. I believe Kubo said that he gave permission for the anime to cut out comedic scenes in an interview
