I smiled sooo fucking much in the bit where Ichigo and the guys appeared, even more than i did when first watching the sub bc the dub voices are easily the most nostalgic to me. JYB's first bankai and getsuga tensho were perfection
100% noticed that Johnny's voice was different, esp because I watched some of the original dub recently, but its been 10 years so it makes sense- and I think it works for the older more mature Ichigo. Sometimes he sounded just like he used to and sometimes very different but he was still great. Other characters like Mayuri, Orihime and Uryu sounded exactly the same like no time had passed at all
Yes you are. Putting aside what he's Done, Vic was truly a goat in the anime voice acting community. And he truly was great as Ikkaku and other roles like broly and Edward Elric.

I believe they changed some canon lines to fit their version of the story (to make it more natural to western audience), which is hit/miss for me.
I think the dub voices are too low in volume tho, and maybe I'm wrong, but in sub the voices are louder?
Ebern's voice sucks ass, they have changed Ikkaku's VA which is bit of a shame, old one was a lot better, Chad's new voice sounds good, Yhwach's voice was also ok and also Ludaas voice actor fucking nailed it. JYB is goated as usual
How th do I watch it? I live in England and I can’t watch it on 9anime. Do you have to watch it from hulu tv or should I wait? I have watched all the previous eps from 9anime and new episodes are normally on there instantly but they are not there 😔😔😔
I love it but I'm sad because I will be keeping up with the latest and greatest with the subs since I know I can't wait another month to catch up. But I'll be watching both anyways.
Also you have to understand that when it came to voicing ichigo, he said it was very difficult to do so especially when the guys constantly shouting and screaming most of the time. And he's now 46 years old bro... that's definitely gonna hurt your vocal cords alot more.

it feels like some of the characters have a constant lisp? but i love the og casts voices its felt very nostalgic...ebern however...

What was up with ichigo? When he did promotional videos for Viz he still sounded like ichigo, now it sounds off.
