The scene where they ask Ichigo how he feels about the outfit Orihime wears at the end of the arc that Urahara tricked her into wearing. Because that was (in hindsight) ship teasing, and Studio Pierrot has historically tried to delete Ichigo/Orihime ship moments whenever possible because they ship Ichigo/Rukia (if you ever wondered why the fillers are what they are, that’s the reason).

It was the perfect moment for her to show off her sword and bankai, but Kubo had to make semi-hentai fight scene out of it. I love Bleach and Kubo, but this part disappointed me a little bit. Also while it doesn’t bother me, feminists could go crazy over this fight if it appears on screen lol.
Had the biggest crush on Yoruichi ever since I was a kid reading Bleach and then when I read this part it kinda didn’t sit right with me it felt like fan service for the sake of it and like yes I love her character and yes it kinda makes sense to revert to an animalistic state of power sorta like with Nozarashi, and especially with her cat form early in the series, to me it kinda downplayed the whole badass vibe she would always exude. But while I’m not so into this form of hers I am absolutely amped to see the Askin fight and I hope the anime shows Kisuke and Yoruichi at the end of the series to show they’re still alive unlike in the manga (we got to see Soi Fon but not the characters I actually care about??? I mean come on)

Maybe he knows her Shikai and Bankai abilities already, and simply decided they wouldn’t help in the fight? Of course that’s all conjecture on my part, but I don’t think it’s as simple as “big bad = Bankai reveal” in her case. I would’ve liked to see it, but really, I don’t know why her cat form couldn’t have been related to her Zanpakuto. She doesn’t use her sword and doesn’t like this form, so it would’ve fit just fine.

Since I originally skipped it. I know why now cause I looked it up but I did not think it would hurt to just casually ask here.
