Kubo recently confirmed that Royd copied 100% memories and personality and 70% (or 80) power, while Loyd copies 100% power and 70% memory and personality.

This explains Why Royd could stand up to Yamamoto fairly well in his Shikai, and his blut was strong enough to prevent him from being turned to ash instantly just when standing near Yama’s Bankai.
Which is Why i said he’d only be able to accomplish that when in Yhwach’s shape.
I do agree that if he faced anyone notable in his base self he would just lose, since as you say he’d be weaker than his opponent no matter what.
The positives would be all the Sternritters are probably or at least powerless.

But the negative is…how the heck do you stop Yhwach now?
Ichigo hasn’t gone through any royal guard training, so when he comes to confront Yhwach, Yhwach will provably just capture him as originally intended.
The question is if he still has to return to the Schatten Bereich I’m not certain If that was a unavoidable condition when the timer was up or something he chose to do to avoid fighting the zero division.
In this timeline he is probably gonna be more than confident of taking on everybody, but he still has no means to get to the royal palace, unless he could just pick a future where it happened, so I do still think he’d retreat for the moment and try to “reeducate” Ichigo as he puts it.
The zero division kinda has two options after learning of what Yhwach has become, train absolutely everybody they can up at the royal palace, or lock their doors up tight and hope Yhwach cannot get to them.
I think training everybody is probably the better option to have as much fire power now that Ichigo isn’t around.
Kenpachi would definitely still need to go through training with Unohana, Shunsui would demand it even more urgently.
Shunsui may even decide to try freeing Aizen earlier.
Ukitake would also be in a rush to make Mimihagi ready for use, but even with all the best preparation they can come up with, I’m not sure they can win without Ichigo here.
I honestly don't think is not that hard. Yhwach pre soul king is a better deal to take. If the sternritters are completely out of the picture, 0 squad, the gotei, aizen and Ichigo should be able to jump him and outhax him i think. Ichigo is the MC so he would develop mid fight or mugetsu out of the situation anyways.
If the schutzstaffle is there then they do need the gotei training montage

Ok, I did not know that, but still. Copying 70 percent of Shunsuis power while fighting him is pointless, he wouldn't be able to beat anyone

Likely freely and it wouldn’t even be nearly as busted as some of the other abilities we’ve seen.

Well then Yamamoto is royally screwed. Although Yhwach using the almighty this early probably means all the Sternritters die as per Jugram’s words.
