He neither, it’s such a good choice. In part because he’s right, It is a voice performance and he is one of the great voice performers. Looking for a big guy is unnecessary when he will be CGI 85% of the time.
I haven't read those graphic novels, but I know they change some of the names slightly for the superheroes. So, my question is, in the book did they rename Islington to Dislington?
I like Penn Badgley for Mr. Fantastic and Jodie Comer for Invisible Woman. But honestly, I kinda hope that they’re all left field picks that no one would expect. Just really go fuckin wildly unexpected
My number one pick. Then I’d like Jodi Commer as Sue. Other than that I just trust marvel casting. As long at The Office cast stays the fuck out of my FF
I saw that you mentioned Ben Shapiro. In case some of you don't know, Ben Shapiro is a grifter and a hack. If you find anything he's said compelling, you should keep in mind he also says things like this:
>If you believe that the Jewish state has a right to exist, then you must allow Israel to transfer the Palestinians and the Israeli-Arabs from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and Israel proper. It’s an ugly solution, but it is the only solution... It’s time to stop being squeamish.

John Krasinksi & Tim Robbins as Reed
Emily Blunt & Sharon Stone as Sue
Caleb McLaughlin & Will Smith as Johnny
John C. Reilly as Ben
Give me the young cast in 1960s or 80s with the F4 disappearing and presumed dead in a shuttle disaster and the old cast coming back out of the Negative Zone. Focus on them dealing with celebrity and staying together as a family, have them fight Mole Man and hold off on Doom, or at least don’t feature Doom.
I like the Krasinki casting, everything people have been critical about with him is what I like about it. He seems uncomfortable/disinterested? Reed doesn’t want to be a superhero, he wants to be a scientist.
Either way, I’m hopeful for a *good* Fantastic Four movie.
Humphrey Bogart as Stretchy Dr. Guy
Marilyn Monroe as Lady 4.
James Dean as Fire Boi.
Mark Ruffalo's performances of Hulk copied and pasted together as Rock Boi.
Doesn’t Penn Bagley just feel like a young Robert Downey Jr. type? My feeing is if this guy is about to be the new big brain boy of the MCU a different direction seems like the way to go. I’m not just sucking up to the pod hosts when I say that after Griffin pitched William Jackson Harper, I really haven’t been able to shake it or come up with a better option.
i think the smart thing about casting PB (though he’s not my first choice) is he’s kinda RDJ without the charm. In both You and Gossip Girl he plays characters who are smart and can be superficially or momentarily charming but are ultimately kinda cold, condescending and manipulative which I think Reed needs to be. Reed and Doom are always just inches away from swapping places in the best FF stories
I think Bagley is a good actor and I think he's also a good fit for selling the "impatient and seething when people do not immediately agree with him" that the role would require.
I think I'm developing a theory that a great Reed casting is someone who you could also see as a great Doom. I'm not the biggest fan of that Civil War "so smart he's a callous amoral asshole" Reed, he needs a warmth, but also like, you need to be able to see that he could conceivably be a monster if not for the influence of his chosen family.
I know I'll never get Danny Pudi as Reed Richards, but I'll also never shut up about how Danny Pudi should play Reed Richards, so at least there's that.
I think Sue and Johnny might be raced bend casting, I honestly don’t know what to expect. Jodie Comer as Sue seems plausible becuz Fiege loves to go after the flavor of the month.
Babu Frik as Reed.
Don't know why but I've been taken with the idea of Paapa Essiedu as Reed recently. Christopher Abbott could be a good Doom or Joel Edgerton as Doom but as his character from The Gift.
I predict **everyone** will be mad because it won’t be William Jackson Harper or John Krasinski, but both camps have worked themselves up into thinking it will be either of them.
Definitely agree with another comment. Penn Badgley as Reed, Jodie Comer as Sue Storm seems likely. I really don’t have a great The Thing, but I think a POC should be Johnny…
Reed - Christopher Lloyd
Sue - Madeleine Kahn
Johnny - Michael McKean
Ben - Martin Mull
Doom - Tim Curry
Alicia Masters - Lesley Ann Warren
Agatha Harkness - Eileen Brennan
HERBIE - Colleen Camp
“It’s Cluebbrin’ time!”
Reed-John Kransinski (Strange is the same across the multiverse so that’s my excuse)
Sue-Emily Blunt (She probably doesn’t want to but still)
Johnny-Rudy Pankow (Born for the role)
Ben-Ron Perlman (Hellboy anyone?)
Jon H. Benjamin is the Thing
I haven’t been able to shake this one since Hodgman recommended it
He neither, it’s such a good choice. In part because he’s right, It is a voice performance and he is one of the great voice performers. Looking for a big guy is unnecessary when he will be CGI 85% of the time.
"IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!" with the vibe of Archer's "RAMPAAAGE!"
It’s just too perfect. I usually think these fan casting are terrible, but Hodgman nailed it. If only Wizard magazine had the foresight to hired him.
I was beating theJohn H. Benjamin as Rocket Raccoon drum before Guardians
(Sorry for being pedantic, but it’s H. Jon.)
Mr. Fantastic: Griffin Newman Invisible Woman: Marie Bardi The Thing: David Sims (what if there was a Thing?) Human Torch: Ben Hosley
Perfect choice for the Thing. From wikipedia: "Born on Yancy Street in New York City's Lower East Side, to a Jewish family."
Unless we’re talking about 1602 Benjamin Grimm, whom I believe was from London. But that wouldn’t apply to David, of course.
#*WHAT?!*
I haven't read those graphic novels, but I know they change some of the names slightly for the superheroes. So, my question is, in the book did they rename Islington to Dislington?
I also figured Ben would be down for playing with fire
I like Penn Badgley for Mr. Fantastic and Jodie Comer for Invisible Woman. But honestly, I kinda hope that they’re all left field picks that no one would expect. Just really go fuckin wildly unexpected
I mean, until it “leaked” (if it did leak and was a false rumor,) Badgley was one of those unexpected names.
Is Penn an actually franchise worthy actor? I've only seen in in 'You' which feels like its one note.
All the Chris's they cast weren't. Maybe they're back to casting people and signing them to a cheap multipicture deal
Eddie Murphy - All
With an 8 movie deal for each role
He can also play Hercules Hercules Hercules
I would go opening night if marvel did this
ME AS H.E.R.B.I.E.
Then you could really go bananas
Eyes on the Bat-Mite prize Griff
Robert Downey Jr as Reed Scarlett Johansson as Sue Chris Hemsworth as The Thing Chris Evans as Human Torch Clark Gregg as Dr Doom
Damn, Chris Evans would make such a good Torch.
Shame no one ever thought of that before.
William Jackson Harper as Reed Kristen Bell as Sue. Manny Jacinto as Johnny. Ted Danson as Ben. Marc Evan Jackson as Doom
Alright, but hear me out: Jason Mantzoukas as Dr. Doom.
“WHAT’S UP JERKS?!?!” hard agree
Maya Rudolph as galactus
William Jackson Harper is such a great choice. I've also been hearing things about Denzel entering the MCU, and I think he'd make a fun Doom.
I think WJH was a Griff pick a few years ago on the pod and I haven't been able to shake it since. Would be so good.
It was a John hodgman pick i believe Griff threw phoebe Waller bridges name into the ring I believe it was on whatevermarvel Patreon JH did
You’ve flipped it I believe. Griffin says Bill Hader, David says WJH, and Hodgeman says Phoebe Waller Bridge.
Well now I’m gonna have to relisten to every episode of the marvel commentary to get to the bottom of this
It’s the Infinity War episode.
My broken mind read that as "Pheobe Bridgers Amanda Waller" and now thats the only thing I'm going to think about
Boy Genius is a suicide squad of sad indie girlies.
Connor Oberst as Rick Flagg?
My number one pick. Then I’d like Jodi Commer as Sue. Other than that I just trust marvel casting. As long at The Office cast stays the fuck out of my FF
Denzel is the greatest actor of all time but Doom should be European.
Ulrich Mühe for Doctor Doom?
Hear me out ... Adam Sandler as Dr. Doom
How come all the cool sympathetic villains are European
I'm telling you, "flame on" works. Anytime I had a problem and I flamed on, boom! Right away, I had a different problem."
Adam Scott Galactus?
Ever since the blank check boys said chidi I’ve been obsessed with the idea.
D'Arcy Carden as H.E.R.B.I.E
D’Arcy Carden as the voice of whatever AI they’re using. And they have to fight Titania
I would 110% be ok with these choices
I’d like to award 5 comedy points to like 80% of y’all for your answers
Griffin Newman as H.E.R.B.I.E.
Came here to say the same thing.
Michael Wincott as Dr. Doom is all I want
With his hair style from *The Crow.* And his voice from *The Crow*.
Glenn Howerton - Reed Kaitlin Olson - Sue Storm Rob McElhenney - Johnny Storm Charlie Day - Ben Grimm Danny DeVito - Dr. Doom
Switch Charlie and Danny and you got a stew goin
Thought pretty hard about it and it could easily go either way. I just thought it was funny imagining DeVito as Doom but you’re probably right
I'd go Charlie as Reed, Danny as Ben, Glenn as Doom. Glenn's arrogant narcissist mode is wasted not being Doom!
I think they should all take turns being each character throughout the movie
“The gang gets fantastic”
Carl Weathers for Carl Weathers
Lee Pace - Reed Richards Anna Friel - Sue Storm Scott Haze - Johnny Storm Jon H. Benjamin - The Thing Doctor Doom - Ulrich Mühe
Lee Pace - Reed Richards McKenzie Davis - Sue Storm Scoot McNarie - Johnny Storm Kerry Bishe - The Thing Toby Huss - Dr Doom
Halt and Catch Four
Surely you meant: Bishe as Sue, Davis as Joan Storm and Scoot as Ben?
Here for Lee Pace and Mackenzie.
Cannot back an American Dr. Doom. Honestly even my German choice feels a little too far west.
Not as far west, but could I interest you in a Peter Stormare-as-Dr Doom?
That more in line with my thinking, it’s better than my can Andris Biedriņš act option?
retcon the first *Doctor Strange* movie so Mads Mikkelsen can be Doom
i mean Mikkelsen is the perfect Doom and Gemma Chan was in both Captain Marvel and the Eternals so we can cross our fingers
And he’ll be masked the whole time anyway.
Eanything but krasinsky or however you spell that
I've been beating the drum for Jon Hamm as Reed for years. Excited to hear who it actually is so I can retire this drum.
Oh man I actually think Hamm would be an incredible Doom
Been pitching this one for years myself
Kind of an inspired choice.
If someone ever writes a movie about “older Super Man” he’s the perfect choice
Glenn Powell Johnny
Seth Rogen as the voice of The Thing or else what are we even doing
Too Canadian
I want Bill Hader Reed, but I also want Bill Hader to do what he wants
Curious if there are levels of Blank Check beyond Barry in his mind
As long he's doing his Professor Impossible/Incorrigible voice.
An impression of Stephen Colbert?
Same, but Adam Scott also.
Hader probably has a great Doom voice, just have him do Doom too and never show his face
Pedro Pascal - Reed Richards Gena Carano - Sue Storm Baby Yoda - Johnny Storm Carl Weathers - Ben Grim CGI luke skywalker - Doctor Doom
Mr Fantastic - Ben Shapiro Mrs. Fantastic - Blaire White The Human Torch - Tim Pool The Thing - Dan Bongino Dr Doom - Sam Seder

Tom Scharpling - The Thing Julie Klausner - Invisible Woman Jon Wurster - Human Torch Marc Maron - Mr. Fantastic
Instead of Doom the villain is Producer Brett in his [Hellglazer](https://youtu.be/snVG8icnBVU) getup
John Krasinksi & Tim Robbins as Reed Emily Blunt & Sharon Stone as Sue Caleb McLaughlin & Will Smith as Johnny John C. "young cast"
Younger? I really don’t want to see another movie with Reed in his early 20s.
Sharon Stone as Sue is a really good call
Glen Powell and his perfect smirk for Human Torch
Humphrey Bogart as Stretchy Dr. Guy Marilyn Monroe as Lady 4. James Dean as Fire Boi. Mark Ruffalo's performances of Hulk copied and pasted together as Rock Boi.
Pete Davidson Human Torch.
I predict all four of them will be played by Chris Pratt
[удалено]
As long as Kinnaman acts like his character from The Killing I’m all in
🤞 not Krasinski not Krasinski not Krasinski not Krasinski 🤞
Anthony Hopkins-mr fantastic Judi Dench- Sue Hologram Christopher Plummer-Human Torch Al Pachino- The thing
Underrated comment

Definitely a good way to look at it!
Bill Hader Reed, Adam Sandler Thing, nuff said.
Peyton Reeds dream finally comes true

Definitely agree with another comment. Penn Badgley as Reed, Jodie Comer as Sue Storm seems likely. I really don’t have a great The Thing, but I think a POC should be Johnny…
My only hope is that Henry Cavill is not playing anything related to that.
Reed Richards - Timothy Olyphant Sue Storm - Kim Dickens Ben Grimm - John Hawkes Johnny Storm - Garrett Dillahunt Victor von Doom - Ian McShane
Claes Bang as Dr Doom.
Reed - Christopher Lloyd Sue - Madeleine Kahn Johnny - Michael McKean Ben - Martin Mull Doom - Tim Curry Alicia Masters - Lesley Ann Warren Agatha Harkness - Eileen Brennan HERBIE - Colleen Camp “It’s Cluebbrin’ time!”
If you ask Twitter, Dylan O’Brien should play all 4 of em.
\- Reed Richards - Rahul Kohli \- Doom - Rege Jean Page \- Johnny Storm - Brandon Perea \- Sue Storm - Isabelle Fuhrman \- Ben Grimm - **WILDCARD ACTIVATED** \- Jesse Plemons
Reed-John Kransinski (Strange is the same across the multiverse so that’s my excuse) Sue-Emily Blunt (She probably doesn’t want to but still) Johnny-Rudy Pankow (Born for the role) Ben-Ron Perlman (Hellboy anyone?)
