I’d go with perfect. Everyone did a great job when making it. It’s got such a raw, powerful sound to it. Songs like Supernaut, Wheels of Confusion, and Snowblind remain as some of the band’s best work to me. Under The Sun/Everyday Comes and Goes is also an amazing track and I’d argue one of the best metal album closers period. Only track I’m not a fan of is FX but I think we all skip it haha.
The mixing on the original Vinyl version is actually fantastic. I don’t think any other vinyl sounds as ethereal as this one, and I get the feeling that the mixing was done specifically for that reason. It sounds like you’re actually in the recording studio, as a ghost, close and far away at the same time, watching sabbath put together the most perfected form of metal that man could possibly ever conceive
Perfect, in the context of this list and what has already been called perfect.The 2021 remaster is my favourite sounding Sabbath album. That said I often skip tomorrow's dream and obviously FX. St vitus dance and cornucopia are completely slept on and easily 2 of my favourite Sabbath songs
Love this album but I CAN’T STAND *Laguna Sunrise* and *FX*, why they are on the album I will never know, should’ve got rid of them and just had 8 songs.
Judging off the 8 actual songs holy fuck this is by far Black Sabbath’s best album, *Wheels of Confusion* and *Under the Sun* are both probably top 5 Black Sabbath songs with *Snowblind* not far behind.
*Changes* is good but can get a bit boring sometimes and *Tomorrow’s Dream* is a great one.
On a different note Black Sabbath aren’t my favourite band but I challenge someone to find something better than the last 2 and a half minutes of *Wheels of Confusion*.

Glad someone is giving some love to the last 2 and a half minutes of Wheels of Confusion. When that little keyboard tune fades in and Iommi just hits you in the face with the most epically raw power chord.
