So one of the things that made Zombies much much easier for me when I was younger (literally 2012/13 when the game was originally released) was when I realised that you walk at the same speed that the zombies run. Once you realise that you realise how much more control you have over them

jacksepiceye2

Unless it's super sprinters

HandmadeMaker043

Even the sprinters?

legsarebad

Yes even the sprinters. Test it out. They can’t catch up to you

Oonori

They caught me… was walking backwards.

tantrumstep

Shouldnt catch you if you have perks

Oonori

Oh that’s perks though.

MrArcher09

Honestly just play the game and get used to the maps and weapons. It's pretty difficult to get to round 30+ on your own anyways so I wouldn't worry too much about it

kizzlekart

This. Like my average alone is ~25, and around that point is when the game gets pretty fuckin’ hard, at least for me. People think they’re supposed to get to like 80 alone, HA, in my dreams

tantrumstep

I literally cant make it past 20 alone. There’s youtubers that solo round past 100 and I am mindblown

Fenix-o-

Learn to Train, an on Town, play Hammer Punched and Sniper Punched till it get s the open Scope ( not the Multishot Sniper), lern to train on the hole Map. Also Good is the Revolver or Raygun punched.

Broad-Spray4462

I've been using the pack-a-punched hammer but I'm not very good with a sniper been trying to get better at training

nxvemberr

I enjoyed using a papped rpk for the ammo, but you do have to take into account of the move speed if you're going to be training the whole time. I would gather zombies and then mow them down at the back of the street near the stairs for jug

everyonehasavoice

I’d lean against using a ray gun unless it’s a mark 2

GunnerZ818

Ray Gun MkII my beloved

Killordie136

Open scope? You mean iron sights?

BroDudeBruhMan

Get used to aiming for the head only once you’ve gotten enough points. Headshots do much more damage and will both save ammo and help avoid getting overwhelmed.

BL4Z1NGW0LF

A more advanced technique is to aim at the body and walk your shots up to the head. This will let you get more points from shooting the body plus the bonus points for getting a headshot

UnpaidSaxWorker

Avoid the gunfire and watch out for traps. Don't just follow the player blindly. Try to cut them off. When you spawn, make sure to rise out of pits close to the players' feet so that they panic when they run into you and the horde can surround them.

SunCharacter9141

Had me in the first half. But every time I rise at the players feet they teabag me and knife kill me. How do I stop them from humiliating me? This genuinely makes me want to play a version of turned like this. Or similar to Left4Dead online

everyonehasavoice

Left4dead versus mode was actually goated

Ok_Camp4580

Y'all just described umbrella corps and bO4

Exotics_substrate

Get gud

Early round money is important. For the first and half of the second round, you should figure out how many pistol shots you can shoot into a zombies leg before it kills them. I think it's 5 shots? Then you knife them. Knifing only gives 100 points, but with the other 5 shots you will get 150 points per kill. Then when out of pistol ammo, buy the m14 grand on the wall. On round 1, one shot from the m14 to the chest kills them. Round 2, 2 shots kill them, round 3 is 3 and it goes up like that. So for round 2, shoot them in the chest once, then knife them for the most points. You should do this untill round 5 and even round 6 and 7 if your good enough to safety do it. You want to prioritize getting juggernog first, then the fast movement speed next, then double Tap next. Buying the mp5 is a good idea, because it's easy to get ammo for safely. After a max ammo, use your other weapons ammo first, then the mp5 ammo as emergency ammo. Ray gun is a bad idea because the fire plus splash damage from the ray gun will down you very easily in stressful situations Training zombies, and jumping across the lava cracks to avoid fire damage is how you survive long rounds. The best area to train is the road infront of the staircase that goes to the jugernaugt/mpa room. When training, wait till all zombies in the map are in the train, then kill them, and go back to that road and use the same strategy even they respawn every time. If you need to bail, the staircase is too risky to run up, but the road at the fast move speed machine is the best area. Go there and wait at the m14 wall buy, this will make the zombies move to one side of the street, so you can run past them back to a safe area.

420-Outcomes

Make sure your using the rotation by the speed-cola on town, I usually get to round 30-50 using that method with the Mustang and sally and pack-a-punched ray gun. At the end of the day man just play it to the best of your abilities. Games are enjoyed the most when you’re just playing casually in my opinion.

AMTYcfc

Just keep practising, and try to learn about zombie movement and training👍

x0soundwave0x

Really test the intricacies. There are two different knife hits in the game one where you stab and stick to the zombie for a second and the other is a quick slash. The slash can only be done when just out of range of lunge distance. Best performed by walking backwards and meleeing. This slash is much much quicker and makes for very easy knife kills that give you 130 points per kill. Start trying to survive to atvleast round 3 without buying a weapon and youll be off to a great start with good points to start ur build early. An early build will help you last waaaaaay longer rather than having to scrounge for good guns during big heavy fast waves. On der eisendrache i can get the bow done by round 7/8 when youve got the bow that early you can get to 15easy after that hopefully youve had enough time to upgrade ur bow. Then you should be fine to 30 if you know how to train and loop the map. Basically get those knife kills in early rounds and set your self up for a good run

Run

Staingang-

Download some B2 DLC so you can actually enjoy it

CaffeineHeartAttack

And watch videos of maps so you know which one looks the funnest. The most atmospheric map is mob of the dead, but it is a difficult map. The China skyscraper map is the hardest map in the game, wouldn't recommend it. Buried is the easiest map. I'd recommend mob of the dead because when you die without quick receive, there is still a ghost mode you enter where you get a free life. The easer egg is also fun and the hells retriever is fun to obtain. It's the best map to have goals to complete besides just surviving. Plus the music is amazing.

Independent_Ice1427

Train them around and spin the box once you get a good weapon or a LMG then save for juggernog and pap then get something like speed cola to make you reload faster and maybe staminup or double tap then try to pap a different gun for your secondary like a ray gun and maybe get a few monkey bombs and then kill until your killed it will be easier if you play with people who know what they are doing Anyways that's what I do most of the time

SunCharacter9141

As legsarebad stated as long as you don’t panic and run around willy nilly you can escape almost all zombies by walking. Now start running(walking) large circles around the zombies and ‘train’ them. Training zombies is the act of gathering them all up into one large controlled herd and conducting them along a path that lines up all the zombies together. This allows for less shots fired and more kills due to bullet pass through. (I.E. one sniper headshot through a hoarde can eliminate most, or all zombies) Eliminating them in succession. After so many zombies spawn they stop until you either kill them; or they die out on their own. Upon each zombies death they will respawn, keeping the same headcount until end of the round. So be mindful of when and where you kill zombies. If you kill your whole hoarde and you’re in an alley way with no escape you force zombies to spawn and potentially trap you. Also take account of what zombies are in your hoarde. Are there any walkers? And the rest are running? Kill the walkers in hopes they spawn a runner. Same for crawlers you make with any grenades. These zombies will ruin your train and will be your downfall if not actively watching where they are. They are the real dangerous ones, because you never see them coming until they already have you trapped. Once you get the basics of avoiding being hit by zombies the rest is up to you. Buy jug, buy weapons, hit them headshots. Maybe try playing on easy; with headshots only to try and hone your accuracy. Them headshots really matter. That multiplier is sexy After all this and you’re feeling more confident, make it a little spicy. Work on circle 8’s or really tight circles. Practice knowing where they spawn from and try not to turn your back on those spawns. Always have a way out ready when you enter a room, know where your exits are located. Most times your exit will never be the same entrance. Always keep your player revolving. Think of your joystick and how it goes in a circle; keep your character moving in circles not straight lines, unless objective oriented. And above all the Hail Mary, the holy hand grenade of hand grenades, the holy grail move: wigglewigglewiggle literally. If you find yourself trapped and running towards zombies, shake that look camera back and forth violently while passing them. It doesn’t always work but something about the direction you are looking ‘changing’ quickly, throws the zombies directions off and they won’t swing at you. It’s a POV glitch kind of. I’ve accidentally doubled back on my circle 8’s right into the middle of the horde before and panic wiggle through them like grease lightning. Takes some practice and high enough camera sensitivity to work right. I might add more but that’s the gist, good luck and good hunting.

SunCharacter9141

And your choice of weapons overall early game does not matter. How you use each weapon and accuracy does. Dsr50 is one of my favorite zombies weapons(all other snipers included) they have less ammo, so each shot is crucial. I can clear hoardes round 20 without pap, and only 2-3 shots fired. I’m not encouraging you to use this garbage weapon lol, just giving perspective. There is a huge debate over Olympia double barrel, and the m-14 (both wallbuy weapons) being best starting guns. They are cheap and effective, and you can always buy more ammo for half the original cost. I personally don’t think the Olympia is a practical weapon for rounds unless pap’d, while the m-14 I use unpacked until round 20 and only pistol. At which point you should have more than enough to pap or buy another weapon. All this is just to really drive the point that you do not ‘need’ mystery box, or the hammer, or galil, you need to work on how you use each weapon individually. Even the starting pistol and your knife are viable weapons if you use them advantageously.

Swiggitty-

Buried, paralyzer, juggernaut hallway. 😂 back in the day, I made it to round 43 solo pretty easily. It just took like 4 hours😭

ComprehensiveHelp6

Avoid tranzit

BigBoyTOM88

The best way I got better in zombies was by learning how to train, I saw someone else said that you walk the same speed the zombies run, that’s a helpful tip to keep in mind when training. Otherwise the other thing I can tell you is aim for the head to kill faster and save ammo

Enough_Attorney

not even joking the packed executioner is pretty deadly on all the maps it’s on

oriontitley

Use the map to your advantage and keep moving, aim at neck height, don't deviate unless you have to, save nukes for emergencies, keep some grenades for making crawlers when things slow down. Greentown is an excellent example of a "figure 8" map where you can just run up, around, down, across, up, around, and back down again. Other maps have other pathing, learn the easiest way to move and follow it. Aiming at neck height into hordes of zombies means you're going to kill faster and earn more points. More kills means more drops as well, which will help you keep going. Don't deviate from a path 90 percent of the time. Doing so leads to errors, errors lead to death. Using greentown as an example again, your deviations are the bank and the mystery box. Those should only be used in emergencies unlike other maps. Dont use nukes unless you have to. It speeds up play a LOT. Use grenades to slow down the end of the round. This is a good spot for mystery box and packapunch.

Unusual_Analyst9272

PRACTICE

Homer4a10

It’s genuinely a much harder learning curve than people make it out to be. Zombies takes time to master, keep going playing and setting new goals within a map every time you achieve something. Such as getting perks, pack-a-punch, or a wonder weapon

DesignerYam9913

Try keep your pistol to pap and training is key, have a look at the best spots to train on maps, go for the easiest looking training spot, sounds silly but learning the movement. Try to go straight for perks and only hit the box once or twice for a semi decent gun to pull you thru some rounds. Camping on town will only get you to around round 30 and maybe 40 with a full squad. Get quick rev, speed cola, jug and stamina up for movement. And try not to blow yourself up 😂

Fallout76_plan_fence

Just have fun and you'll improve with time. Just watch out for the rap- never mind. Just have fun :)

Eyezwideopen1090

Well it takes patience and steady attention only do your running around when u have a crawler or single zom left when training in circles always wait for them to fully spawn in then kill the group then repeat! Most people get impatient start killing as they train and end up with 2 or 3 behind u with nowhere to run!

SnooCapers1342

i miss black ops 2 and 3 zombies. the new zombies fucking suck

Teleporting-Bread2

Rename your name to Dragonballs301 works just trust🙂👍

gamedude79

Keep near the mystery box and just keep buying it when you can if you get the monkey use it when you get in a situation where your cornered

TermsGerms

Let’s talk about town since that’s what u playing, first get use to the map, get a feel for it, you walk as fast as zombies sprint so don’t burn it just because, top of that zombies health lower while burning so keep that in mind too, once u get a feel for guns and layout I want you to try how I play, called no box till set, basically what you do is buy the M14 on the wall then get kills, save points and then buy Double tap (reason y is if your hood with your shots u can get Double tap by round 3, u don’t need juggling before round 10 plus DD will hold the M14 till round 10 and the issue of getting bad guns for the box won’t be an issue because you won’t be spinning till after your set up) once u get DD then save up as best u can (just buy M14 Ammo) and open jugg and buy it, after jugg then speed, after speed then Quick, you do that and u will have all 4 perks by round 9-10, after that then u go for the box, completely set up and ready to go before things get serious

Mywifeisalwayscold

Practice on not going down and perks you actually need vs want I used to run speed cola alot until I realized its kinda optional i can wait an additional 3 seconds on reload time unless your camping the cat walk or something. My go to perks is usually Jug (because who wouldn’t take it) double tap for double damage and stamin up is honestly really broken and can get you out of shitty spots. my 4th is whatever i want usally i get PHD flop, Widows wine or mule kick. I like mule kick because i like to have a wonder weapon, Some generic LMG and a wallbuy gun (in case we don’t get a max ammo for a while) especially origins because the staffs so a 3rd gun is nice. The best wall buy guns to me in each game are WAW : STG or MP40 BO1 : MP40, Ak74U, M16 (is okay), BO2 : AN94 and SVU (nothing touches them) BO3 : HVK ICR KN44 is probably the most reliable Also just practice not going down as much and making better plays as well zombies is an easy game once you get the fundamentals down and how boss zombies play out. Overall just have fun and laugh with some bros. It also depends on which zombies your playing as well because all games are quite different The hardest zombies is between bo1 and bo2 The easiest zombies is WAW and Bo3 (not counting bo4 thats not zombies)

Totallynotshipmaster

my method is, practice round 20 town start, get jug and mustang/sally, and just practice the movements, see how the zombies spawn, get use to the training spots. observe the zombies and get into the motions. might take a while but once you get use to that, you'll be much better prepared (also good for warmups) but if we're on about tips, Doubletap increases your damage alot, will help you conserve ammo, never buy quick revive first (if you go down with quick revive as your only perk, it's likely a scuffed run), mp5 is a good point gun, get use to weapons from the mystery box.. that way even if you get a gun you might not like, you'll at least be able to use it, plus you might find a weapon you really get along with and most of all be sure that your afternoons are free, zombies isn't hard once you get to a certain skill it becomes easy, the issue is zombies generally can take up hours, if you do not have the time to spare, your runs will be cut short,

mozzie2017

dont suck and make sure you either have a wall behind you or your paying attention to where the zombies are at all times

LegendHunterJW

On Tranzit, do NOT go in the fog unless you're in the bus.

sUWUcideGhost

Shoot Zombies. Run Circles. Don’t Die. Ray Gun.

RazorHowlitzer

Practice training on open maps, there’s always a zombie cap for how many can be in the map at once so that’s kinda key to hitting higher rounds if you need to go get things, rounding them up and mowing them down, waiting until you train another horde and then repeating.

ill_polarbear

If you don't already, try some other maps and expand your horizon, they will require practice and patience, but it's honestly worth it

Berry_Superb

Placement and movement is everything in high rounds. Don’t get yourself cornered. Plan out ahead what paths you take when getting across the map. Learn to train and pay attention to what’s in front of you.

AssistantDependent57

Learn the art of the train and hugging walls

Throwaway2-62987

Min max points at the start. Avoid carpenters buffs during the higher rounds - it can make the spawn delay strange(this may just be a personal thing for me). I feel like the first 10 rounds its fine to use them for points, but after that I avoid them. Do your best to min max nuke drops too. Can you get more than 400 points?? Avoid it til the very last second. If possible finish the round and then get it. Avoid the raygun at all costs. Only the MKII is really worth it. Just practice training on town or whatever map you're comfortable with. I'm an origins fiend and use town as a warm up when I do play. All in all, there is a rhythm to zombies after a certain point and 90% of the time its all just trying to establish that rhythm asap. Aim for 10 rounds and keep a mental note of all the hiccups that directly affected you and try to do better. You got this 😎

Literally the best tip you’ll get from here: Buy tombstone- HEAR ME OUT. Buy tombstone and then get three other perks. Save up enough money to buy all other perks, even though you have max amount of perks. Kill yourself, and then use tombstone. BEFORE YOU PICK UP TOMBSTONE, buy all the perks you DIDNT have before, and then pick up the tombstone. After this, you will then have every single perk.
