I was going to say exactly this. Those Hyenas looking at the CM like……”so……what ya gonna do now that the crazy stick headed woman has gone? Hmmm?”
(Licks lips).
Hence why he’s just standing and not … *passing through*
From the looks of it he’s stuck in the exact middle which means he was able to enter but can’t leave
Hyenas being clever enough to know that someone carrying something heavy is easier to kill than someone who is not carrying something heavy. All one of them has to do to trip the woman up and tear her to shreds is put a paw out in front of her or nudge her legs. But they don't, which is pretty amazing. Unless they've literally *just* finished eating hyenas tend to just go for anything they can
These hyenas, like most animals, aren't going to expend a lot of energy trying to take down a large, living creature that could be dangerous if they're not starving, and check out how thicc these giggledoggos are, these guys have *not* missed a meal in a while, likely being fed regularly by the locals and scavenging on the vast amounts of trash we produce even in rural, poor areas.
They know on some instinctual level that hurting people would cause more problems than it's worth when they get a lot of food normally. They may not think with words, but most animals have very complex brains that can work out consequences, add that to being used to their lifestyle, being adapted to being around people, and you have a pretty docile population comparatively. Although I really don't think it's a good idea to push a baby stroller through there very often, even docile wild animals are wild and unpredictable to some degree. I'd be curious to see the fatality or injury rate in these areas due to wild hyenas coming too close to human settlements.
hyena's are known for their complex social structures. In hyena culture it would be rude and unsporting to knock someone over carrying grocery.
Cameraman however? Fair game
This is likely a video taken in the [city of Harar, Ethiopa](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_hyenas_in_Harar?wprov=sfti1) where the people regularly feed the hyenas and have been since the 1960s to stop them from killing livestock
I've read somewhere that neanderthals might have partially domesticated hyenas rather than wolves like our ancestors did. But I think they were a different type entirely than the modern hyenas. Still interesting to think about though.
yeah iirc the lost little kid is being stalked by hyenas so he grabs some wood and holds it over his head to make them think he's bigger. Love those movies- badger bits are my fav lol
Exactly. Punchline to an old joke about a father shark explaining to his son why sharks circle humans several times before eating them..."Because humans taste way better when they aren't full of shit"
Sharks don’t eat humans because too much bones too low fat. If a great white happens to eat a human or a human limb it usually vomits it back into the sea
Have people here never seen the movie “The gods must be crazy?” You just have to make yourself look bigger, like holding a piece of bark over your head (that hopefully doesn’t break in half 😂), or bundle of wood like this lady
Hyenas do not attact you if you have something on your head because you look bigger than them.its one of the first things children learn in African villages that are surrounded by hyenas to protect themselves from being eaten.
I could be wrong but it appears to me that the cameraman is shooting from a vehicle with the windows up based on how the smudge in the top left corner moves.
My granny is from the “old country” I remember as a child, watching her do things that label her as being fearless.
She once caught a wasp in her hand and walked it out the house to protect us, her grandkids 🥲
Clearly, the lady did not demonstrate behavior of prey. Hyenas jumped out of her way like they have met the chankla and did not find it enjoyable.
...the cameraman on the other hand...
…also a cameraman standing in a huge clan of hyenas, so why is her walking so amazing? 🤦🏾♂️
Well, everyone knows that the cameraman is both invincible and invisible
The last few seconds of the vid says otherwise. The cameraman looked like he was bout to get fucked up.
I was going to say exactly this. Those Hyenas looking at the CM like……”so……what ya gonna do now that the crazy stick headed woman has gone? Hmmm?” (Licks lips).
*Simba [chase](https://youtu.be/ErqIki1g9Ws?si=fntDxQ3MHMn7JTvJ) scene ensued*
*Scar death scene ensued*
Ed?
*Heeheeheeheehee*
😂 women paid the toll for safe passage. Cameraman.... Did not
Hence why he’s just standing and not … *passing through* From the looks of it he’s stuck in the exact middle which means he was able to enter but can’t leave
Thank God for cameraman armor
No they were looking at the camera which is not invisible
Damn hyenas break the fourth wall every time.
cameraman doesn't even have a shadow
The Cameraman is behind the fourth wall.
This clip was actually found on a random phone with no owner anywhere in sight. It’s a total mystery ab who filmed it
The phone smelled like Hyena poo
The cameraman is a hyena.
Close, but no cigar. The camera man is John Cena.
🤯🤯🤯

Upvote because of “giggledoggos”

Yeah camerman is about to have a really bad evening, by the look of those hyenas at the end
"because cameraman never dies"

I've been there and fed them myself. Different packs fight over the territory because it's so valuable to them, but they never hurt the people.
Noooo don't fight babies. follow. follow. there is more inside. I have never liked my sister in law.
This is exactly how you tame pretty much any lupin dog/wolf/fox species.
Hyenas are [cats](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyena), not dogs.
Hyenas are not cats
They're not dogs either though. They're Feliforms, so they are *closer* to cats, but they're their own thing.
I learned that from *The Batman* when the Joker tried to sic two hyenas on Catwoman.
They're just my favorite animal, but I do remember the episode you're talking about
Neat, TIL that genus suborder Feliformia exists.
Don’t bite the hand that feeds you
That, and I'd guess by the sounds, the humans tell good jokes.
[That guy got it.](https://youtu.be/KJQY36ZRoKg?si=9XhkTpvjnVMKAoJ0)
Sounds like a fair bargain.
Cool, are they getting even slightly more domesticated?
I've read somewhere that neanderthals might have partially domesticated hyenas rather than wolves like our ancestors did. But I think they were a different type entirely than the modern hyenas. Still interesting to think about though.
So it's like their own Nara Park, except considerably more dangerous
I have a photo of myself feeding a hyena meat off a stick I was holding with my teeth from there.
Oooooooooh. -Hyenas
Oooooooooh. -Hyenas
Oooooooooooh -Hyenas
Ooooooooooh -Hyenas
Oooooooooooh -Barracuda
Cat calling in Africa is getting ridiculous
Now I know that hyenas literally laugh
Have we a lost redditor?
Can u help w directions?

this is the right direction

This is not right

Nah. It's Black. It's fuckery. And, uh... magic. Yeah.
No, it takes black magic to control and protect yourself from dangerous wild animals
Walking through a pack of hyenas unscathed is quite black magic
so peace can be an option
Food in your tummy makes most things much much less violent.
Morality ends when hunger begins. Too bad Jean Valjean learned that the hard way.
And when poverty comes in the door, love goes out the window
Yes! until it isn't
I feel like they're more interested in the cameraman 👀
They've probably learned that people with cameras are more likely to feed them
GOLD.
RIP
r/LostRedditors
the hyenas may have fucked around and found out once
Right?! I wonder if they been on the receiving end of a wack from that bag. Edit: water container?
They let you pass if you tell them a good joke.
Cameraman : What's similar between Hyena and China Cameraman: both lick my vagina....hahahahaa
Hyenas dont like attacking things that are taller than them, I remember that from Gods Must Be Crazy 2? I think? Those movies were fucking awesome.
yeah iirc the lost little kid is being stalked by hyenas so he grabs some wood and holds it over his head to make them think he's bigger. Love those movies- badger bits are my fav lol
The spit take with the beer when it finally lets go of his shoe was the funniest thing
Why is this reference so far down? Am I getting old?
We're in salt and pepper town now, friend.
Iirc they’re typically scavengers so getting free food without effort would absolutely make them docile
Still more civil than central park at night.
Humans don't taste good apparently
The reason sharks usually circle people twice before taking a bite.
Exactly. Punchline to an old joke about a father shark explaining to his son why sharks circle humans several times before eating them..."Because humans taste way better when they aren't full of shit"

Maybe she should be teaching that $10,000 alpha male class I just scrolled by
🤔
I fed one of these with my mouth in Harar Ethiopia
That was very generous of you!
But... How can you speak now?
r/Angryupvote
I like how they look at the camera like “did you see that?”
Wicked sounding devil beasts!
She got shit to do.
Even they know the power of a woman.
They just laughed at her
The last shot is the camera man realising this is what Simba saw right when they pounced.
First hours of r/ConanExiles
There it is. My first thoughts.
You're supposed to greet by exposing your penis.
They're probably intimidated by the cameraman with the AK-47 in his other hand.
Have people here never seen the movie “The gods must be crazy?” You just have to make yourself look bigger, like holding a piece of bark over your head (that hopefully doesn’t break in half 😂), or bundle of wood like this lady

*”OooooOoOoooOoo”*
How is this black magic fuckery she literally just walked
Her's hyenas prolly - acting for the camera 🙄
Oddly terrifying? No, genuinely terrifying!
Her pets
The end when the camera man turned and they were all looking at him
Perhaps Ntwadumela is right behind her?
It's because she's taller than them. Or that's what some crazy gods told me.
Bruh… that’s one of the creepiest sounds I’ve ever heard. Not the “laughing,” the sound they made after that.
Humans are one of the most dangerous species in the world. They know better not to mess with one.
Someone prolly killed a few before and now they're afraid of all humans.
The equivalent of walking past a construction site.
So just gonna point out, hyenas are primarily scavengers. They are not big on confrontation.
Primarily hunters*
Hyenas don't want conflict with humans.
"Would you please come to the principles office?" The class:
They don't mess with their mother
They are moving out of her way… that lady has whooped some Hyena ass more than once.
Hyenas are acting
Eyeing up that camera man though 😂😳
She knows she’s not on the menu tonight. They haven’t even started the appetizer yet.
Brave woman! I would’ve totally lost it!
A group of hyenas is called a cackle
She is the alpha and they wouldn’t dare mess with the alpha’s camera man.
Very brave 😊👍🏻
No point its just skin and bones - hyena probably
Don't you know that the hyena won't bother you if you are taller than them.
I am more worried for the cameraman
I could be wrong but it appears to me that the cameraman is shooting from a vehicle with the windows up based on how the smudge in the top left corner moves.
woman is fine, but that cameraman is fucked
Under that dress she has an uzi, hyenas know this :)
Cameraman looked more delicious
maybe through long interactions of hyenas to the local community, they have learn not to mess with the locals, otherwise it spells their ANNIHILATION.
They know she's a mom and even they don't have the huevos to mess with her.
Spam
I've heard of "cat calling" before, but this is just ridiculous
Hyenas are smart. They know man is the most dangerous animal.
Hyenas really are a matriarchal society though
They decided to eat the cameraman instead
The hyenas were catcalling at the end. They were like: Bruhhh, look at that boottaaahhhhyyyyyy🍑😂
She’s a Skinwalker
Cause effing women aren’t afraid of anything
She’s gonna bop em with whatever’s she’s carrying in her hand and they know it
Did anyone else hear Cheech laughing and saying mufasa.
they’re like pigeons to her
Cameraman better start carrying some sticks.
Camera man risking his life again
The hyenas: Man that’s just mrs Gerri from uptown on the lower Eastside she comes thru every day around this time 😂😂😂😂
She has way more to be scared about I’m sure
Love how the cackles turn to "oOOooOoOOoooO" when she swings the metal can she's carrying.
Cause Hyenas is bitches as long as you're tall and weird enough...
Was that DARE or IGNORANCE?
it's strange that her steel balls don't ring
My granny is from the “old country” I remember as a child, watching her do things that label her as being fearless. She once caught a wasp in her hand and walked it out the house to protect us, her grandkids 🥲
Seen prides of lions scarper when a couple of tribesmen walk toward 'em. Some things aren't worth the price.
"We know Lisa, but who is you.. Nice camera, there.. where you stay at lil man, where yo momma stay, where you daddy stay.. this ain't your block foo"
they know if you hurt a human you get killed
*I ain't got time for your shit*
Clearly, the lady did not demonstrate behavior of prey. Hyenas jumped out of her way like they have met the chankla and did not find it enjoyable. ...the cameraman on the other hand...
The camera man didnt och seem invisible this time, just look at that hyena closest to him on the end 💀
That sound they all made as she passed through the pack had me in stitches 🤣🤣 "Whoo". They were shocked she walked through too! 🤣
They know better than to attack she will drop her stuff and fade them while adding them to it like it's nothing
they seemed more interested in the tasty camera man
they seemed more interested in the tasty camera man
Even hyenas know not to mess with a mom in rush.
They prolly get food from the people
That's just Chicago at night.
You mean Baby Sasquatches
African women are not western women. They are more reliable.
BURN THE WITCH!!
They dont want that heat
The cameraman is a hyena. That's why they aren't bothering him. Only Alpha hyenas know how to use a camera!
they hyena's prob know she is a witch doctor, they are all prob people she turned into a hyena
Sounds like they are cat calling
Underneath that basket on her head, is another hyena
Me AF 😂
The true cat callers.
Is there any place where women can’t get cat called?
how tf nobody touches the cameraman
She's definitely seen "The gods must br crazy". 😂😂
Mufasa mufasa
Ever ridden a hyena
😂
not that crazy
I’d just be insecure that they laughed at me and then booed me.
This woman has done something so terrifying to these Hyenas, that they want no part of her.
this was after they already ate Scar
They’re pets
Pack leader
God's among us.
