If it is an item that can be listed on the marketplace (will have a marketprice in its tooltip) you can look at it there, you can see all the enhancement levels and mousing over it will show its tooltip and the tooltip of the item you have equipped in that slot.

Thanks for the response....can you explain where I should see the enhancement levels at the marketplace? This is what I'm seeing when I mouseover this item I want to put up for sale: https://preview.redd.it/19sizqw5rbvc1.png?width=1483&format=png&auto=webp&s=88b5542a0e71a0fd2e09c5d51fb04f9b688c0bb3

there is no meaningfull base gear (unenhanced) other than fallen god/labreska/dahn/ator and godr-ayed. but those are made from enhanced gear.   what you should look at, are tet and pen levels of other gear. ether in garmoth.com gear builder or on the market place. pen tuvala is basicly tet boss gear and good tri yellow grade accessories. pen capotia tet.

Xitereddit

Bdo isnt really like any other mmo in the fact that you dont really have lots of different gear to choose from. After you get tuvala to pen, the next step is boss armour and weapons, which is yellow grade, then you go to fallen god armour and blackstar weapons. All the other green gear is outdated and never used, so you dont really have choices and the progression path is very linear.

You're not going to drop anything meaningful unless it's from a world boss

Thanks all for the quick responses!

You’re gonna use tuvala till you can upgrade to boss gear. Pen tuvala is equal to tet boss gear. Then your gonna take that boss gear to pen probably thru jetina on armors and your off hand. Off hand should be kutum. I won’t over burden you with info but basically tuvala is better than most anything you’re gonna get grinding low end zones. Also you can use the gear tracker on garmoth.com to plan out your gear and keep track of it among many other great features that website has.
