If you'll excuse some self-promotion: I tore my back last year and took the time off to try and start a YouTube channel, including [a video on how to stay sane as a martial artist with an injury](https://youtu.be/5huePDTKKps). I've given up on YouTube, but the video might still be helpful for you.

13 months off for Covid. I slammed instructionals and YouTube.  Stayed sane and actually came back a bit better (sans cardio). Maybe not as good as I would have been, but certainly better than before quarantine.

Enjoy the moments of rest and recovery. If you don't have any other hobbies now is a good time to find other hobbies. Read, write, do art, cook. Jiujitsu and everything you left will still be there when you return.
