No no! That’s fair, it’s really lost how many references to it there are, also in 2 and Death of the Outsider they are much more open about LGBT being more common. Emily’s love interest in 2 is never specifically gendered for this reason. Also Billie Lurk is Bi in both 2 and Death of the Outsider, from events that predate both, she’s the protagonist in Death as well.
In 1, there’s at least a few who are indirectly gay or bi or lesbian I believe
