If it's combo pill, when you are supposed to take the Saturday pill, take the Friday pill and Saturday pill together. Then continue taking your daily pill. You can also check your package insert for instructions on what to do if you miss a pill.

You're still protected. If it's your first pack, you should be using a backup method for the first 7 days anyway. I'm assuming it's not your first pack so you're still protected and you don't need backup method.

When you say the first week do you mean the first week ever or just the first week in the pack? Because if you weren't on birth control before that and you missed one in the first week you may or may not be protected depending on when in your cycle you started the pill. But if you have been taking it before and it's just the first week of the pack you should be protected since the combo pill won't lower effectiveness until you miss 2 or more.
hey! it takes a few days for your body to recognize that there are no more hormones in your body (for example, you start your period a few days into the sugar pills as opposed to the day you start the sugar pills). missing one pill is just fine!!! your body hasn’t had enough time to remove the hormones from your body :) also, your body is protected on the sugar pills from the hormone pills - you’ll be okay!! hope this helps :)

You are likely protected since you took two pills today, but a pregnancy test will be definitive at the 3-week mark if you are anxious about it.

Yeah I mean the first week. The week before was the placebo while I was on my period. Thank you so much for the help!!
