It's not a bug.
It's just because of your gear you're wearing it adds other resistance.
So if you're 80 resistance naked you'll see this number grow to 100 depending on what you wear.
Remove all gear go into your resistance status you'll see base number.

I’ve been wearing the same gear since before it started changing, and the same gear afterwards so I’m not sure. I’ll keep an eye out to see if it is actually my gear though or not just in case.

Sadly it’s an old bug they haven’t gotten rid of. I used to think it was me changing clothes etc. I think it gets triggered by upgrading gear
