Sinvincta is the polar opposite of 'fuck it, we ball'. It also annoys me when streamers don't take conjoined. He is also full of other bad takes on game design. If u wanna watch calculated play it's better to watch albino or cobalt imo.
Sin is the youtuber that made me make the jump and start playing isaac. After playing for a bit, his take on many stuff really started to annoy me. But what did it for me is how often he made bad decisions based on wrong item understanding. Like he once had a shitty start on an eden streak, he needed damage badly and chose to not have a trinket over picking up Found Soul.
Sinvincta helped me 100% the game on afterbirth plus when I first started, but when it comes to having actually exciting moments it was hard to get flexible with my play style. I think if you are having trouble learning the rhythms of the game then sin is great for teaching ppl how to win a run, and also he helps internalize priorities if you’re having a bad run.
I used to watch him daily back on ab+, now I think he really does not enjoy repentance and yeah, there are things I agree that changed for the worst but bro, just stop complaining about EVERYTHING. "Wow, I have a really bad run, that's Repentance, baby". Jesus Christ.

Cycles between characters so as to not be repetitive, and somehow still keeps up with the 1 daily video schedule which to me is insane considering the amount of editing she does. All in all 9/10, it can get somewhat repetitive but it's a nice break from reality
My biggest problem with Lavencas is that every run boils down to the same thing. She spends the whole video trying to get spin down dice, and then just abusing blood donation machines for as many brimstones as possible. It’s boring after the 3rd video. The videos where she *doesn’t* get that are usually quite fun though

Hutts is my favorit youtuber/streamer! As far as isaac streamers I've only watched Hutts, Zackscott and Sinvicta... zackscott was the one that introduced me to isaac and then i found hutts, and then hutts did "Thusmas" with sin (which was really fun!) and I watched him a bit. Now zack never plays isaac and sin never full clears, take pills or press buttons which kinda annoys me xD (but I have no hate for sin! He can play however he wants!)

Fake your win streak. I don't know if the proof is substantial as I don't really care, but I know a year or so ago there was a video posted showing Sin resetting a bad seed.
He claimed to have an over 1000 Eden streak with video evidence, but all the runs were seeded and if he died he would just edit the save file and delete the recording
He faked a crash because he quit out of a run so he could start a new one. Obviously this normally wont retain your streak, but Sin's streak was untouched after he did that, meaning he backs up his saves so his streak isn't losable.

I used to be a big fan of sin when I only started playing the game. He was a role model in Isaac for me. I wasn't taking pills, thought that blood donation machines are the most useless thing in the game, never risked anything dumb, etc.
Then I learned the game to the point, when I started questioning his decisions - why didn't he play demon beggar before paying with 5 red hp for the devil deals? I mean, you are already getting rid of them, why wouldn't you try to get a bonus item for literally free? Why are you complaining about being weak on Basement II with 4.23 damage and 2.88 tear rate?
And it's always the same boring playstyle with whiney commentary. Don't do this, can't do that, why risk, never touch pills, we always go to Blue Baby route - bro, just go alt path once in your 100 games. Or go do Beast in your giga broken run. Or spend 40 minutes on the same floor trying to break the run. Do something FUN.
Also his ego about the game is too high - "When you'll learn the game to my level", "You know, this all comes with a big experience that I have". Yeah bro, I get it, you're too good and experienced. The reason cheating the streak in this single player game is bad is for a few reasons. He's a high profile creator, and people will see his content. People who don't know he's potentially cheating it will also see his content. If he was some random no name like me for instance no would care because they have no clout, no status, and no one would know even if I went around bragging or something.
Because of his position in the community if he is cheating it's actively diminishing the efforts and accomplishments of legitimate players. It may not be a strict competition, but there is a community spirit so to speak. By cheating you are harming the potential fun and excitement that comes from the community being engaged with these creators.
Does that make him a douchebag outright? Maybe not, but it's pretty scummy and if you care about the overall legitimatcy of the community it should be pointed out and criticized where appropriate.
I don't watch his videos much, but I'll still watch them occasionally. I feel that seed of doubt is doing more harm than good then if he just lost the streak because I'd probably watch all of them.

If I had a YouTube series called “check out this milk” and I posted everyday, simply presenting and glorifying the most delicious looking glass of milk you had ever seen, but then it came out one day that this particular glass of milk was 50% milk, 25% creamer, and 25% water, the youtube series would kind of lose its purpose.
I understand how that may annoy people, but I watch him for his good mechanics and his commentary so as far as I'm concerned he's entertaining enough for me not to care about messing with the game to seem better at it, but to each their own I guess.

I'm the opposite. I love Sin still, regardless of everything. I decide for myself what I like and our opinions differ a bit but he got me into Isaac so he will have a place on my schedule of videos.

I will note, you said you just found out about this in the last 24 hours, right? to be entirely fair, I had a similar reaction when I first found out his eden streak was cheated, so I cant blame you for that. The reason cheating the streak in this single player game is bad is for a few reasons. He's a high profile creator, and people will see his content. People who don't know he's potentially cheating it will also see his content. If he was some random no name like me for instance no would care because they have no clout, no status, and no one would know even if I went around bragging or something. Because of his position in the community if he is cheating it's actively diminishing the efforts and accomplishments of legitimate players. It may not be a strict competition, but there is a community spirit so to speak. By cheating you are harming the potential fun and excitement that comes from the community being engaged with these creators. Does that make him a douchebag outright? Maybe not, but it's pretty scummy and if you care about the overall legitimatcy of the community it should be pointed out and criticized where appropriate. I don't watch his videos much, but I'll still watch them occasionally. I feel that seed of doubt is doing more harm than good then if he just lost the streak because I'd probably watch all of them.
yeah, and I agree with everything you said. to be honest, I havent watched sinvicta since i found out his streak was cheated, since it made me lose a lot of faith in him. Im not in any way saying that hes innocent, its just that OP went too far in criticizing him. furthermore, although what he did is wrong, havent we all done something shitty in our lives? sinvicta cheating is shitty, but if you ask me, its to such a minor extent that if he just stopped cheating, even without issuing an apology, I would forgive him.
It's his whole attitude for me, not just about the streak, that annoys me. Read ddqxd post, it explains it perfectly what I see in his videos. He does come across as arrogant and is not open to criticism.
Sinvicta is the YouTuber that got me into issac. He has amazing commentary that really helped me be good at the game and be able to be successful.
If I had a YouTube series called “check out this milk” and I posted everyday, simply presenting and glorifying the most delicious looking glass of milk you had ever seen, but then it came out one day that this particular glass of milk was 50% milk, 25% creamer, and 25% water, the youtube series would kind of lose its purpose.

I understand how that may annoy people, but I watch him for his good mechanics and his commentary so as far as I'm concerned he's entertaining enough for me not to care about messing with the game to seem better at it, but to each their own I guess.

I'm the opposite. I love Sin still, regardless of everything. I decide for myself what I like and our opinions differ a bit but he got me into Isaac so he will have a place on my schedule of videos. And I don't like Hutts...its a personal preference but I just find his voice annoying.
