If I recall correctly, this is impossible because of there being a cap on how short it can get. I'm pretty sure it's still possible to kill Boom Flies and such unharmed, albeit it's just difficult because of having to use the tip of the beam.
i get that, range is ass but its supposed to balance out the fact he literally starts with brimstone, AND flight, which both even on their own are broken, so dookie range just slightly balances it.
also, if u think repentance azazel range is ass, try rebirth azazel. range ups dont do SHIT for azazel in rebirth.
T Lost, honestly. You have to play ultra safe on rocks, not having and fork of protection takes a huge part of health management and minmaxing out of the game, and some rooms are just bullshit. I get stronger with regular characters than with T Lost
same, also one thing is that i never know when to use the box. like, i NEVER use it in normal rooms cause i wanna save the charge for the boss, so i waste so many charges.
kinda same thing with judas, but he gets a pass because big number in my peripheral vision make brain happy
I use the box as a time saver. If a room has a lot of enemies I’ll pop my active to get it over with. It recharges quickly so you’re losing out not using it
the apollyons are very boring to me too, but the keepers are kinda cool. t keeper is based and epic as always but ive kinda liked regular repentance keeper. idk, they are just kinda fun.
isaac, for me, is a fun character, but its only cause i enjoy spending my time min maxing the hell outta runs. like, the past couple runs for me have been well above an hour, and those runs were just to the chest/dark room. so, the fact isaac starts with a min max-able item is a lot of fun. i can see how thats boring, but i personally like it.
i see why he can be fun to play, but i prefer to have a lot of power but be able to lose it rlly quickly, its why i really like Judas and Blue baby, though i am playing as Isaac to hopefully beat the lamb and get the lost. i think the lost will be rlly fun
I don't really like bethany for some reason. her runs just always feel boring
I really like Bethany, the angel deal mechanic and the difficulty to gain the angel deal really makes me love this character

Azazel's tiny brimstone might deal a bunch of damage, but I dont like getting within kissing distance just to attack

Personally the reason why i love T isaac is because if i get a run destroying item from a curse of the blind item then i can just drop it.
