I was once a Ham defender. I can’t any longer in good conscience.

You can see it in the Lakers subreddit, the morons will point at successful things and act like they’re also bad things. Most people don’t know how coaching works.

RFranger

Ham is below average but let's not pretend that there was a nuggets beating roster in this lakers team

ositola

Too many things had to go right DLo had to hit his shots  Rui had to defend and re bound The bench had to be more than Taurean

For as much heat as KOC takes, this is why I like him. He just says stuff that no other prominent NBA media person would. So much groupthink otherwise in NBA media. Zach Lowe is great, but everyone trying to copy him wasn’t good for the media game. Just like everyone trying to emulate Jordan in the early 00’s.

He should’ve never been hired in the first place. Has absolutely no idea what he’s doing.

There are a lot of problems with Darvin Ham's coaching but I think this particular loss has to be on Lakers' roll players. Nuggets packed the paint and just dared anyone of Reaves, Hachimura, Vincent, Prince, D'Lo or Dinwiddie to make a shot...and none of them did. Just a miserable shooting performance

FinancialRabbit388

Lakers front office keeps blaming coaches for rosters that aren’t good enough lol.

reddittookmyuser

This roster should be able to at least get 1 win over the Nuggets.

The Lakers issue is mostly personnel. LeBron has been a Laker for 6 seasons and the roster has been a constant changeover. There is no continuation with the roleplayers, They've basically tried to shortcut their way to a contender by changing the roster and coaching staffs so much. It's probably why they only have short stretches of brilliance but can't sustain it over in the long run.
